Exactly the replacement needed

This was exactly the replacement set that I needed! The plumber had looked in various places but could not find it. One look on Amazon and there it was. Plumber said it was the exact same plumbing and was installed in a breeze. I am not thrilled with the enclosed shower head but then again it is a standard shower hear. Not bad per se just not what I had prior to this installation. Otherwise this was a good purchase and would get it again.

Looks good, but…

My faucet was installed by a professional plumber two months ago. I am the only one who uses the shower—every other day, generally speaking. Today the hot water handle came off in my hand when I tried to turn the water on. I was not happy! I have used these faucet handles with extreme care in order to avoid stripping the threads, so I’m seriously questioning the quality of my purchase.

Satin Nickle

I'll admit I was a little nervous ordering this without actually seeing it with my own two eyes first, but I am quite pleased. The satin Nickle finish was exactly as I'd hoped, it looks wonderful with my white bathtub and surrounding tiles which are a darker grey. While it does require some assembly, I had no trouble installing it myself and I have no plumbing experience whatsoever. I even had to replace the old components because I was installing the shower portion. It took me an afternoon to put in, the hardest part was getting the faucet to sit flush against the wall, however shimming the pipe behind the wall helped it fit tighter. My only complaint is that the shower head doesn't have as many options for changing the stream of water, but that wasn't a huge deal for me.

Brass Twin Handle Faucet

This is a great looking addition to the bathroom. My tub/shower is white-and I mean white and this is a fantastic addition to the appearance of the area-breaks up the white wonderfully. I received no plastic pieces - everything came unassembled and naturally had to have a plumber come in to assemble and install as I had not a clue what piece went where. I really like the duel handles-I had the single knob prior to this unit and I could never get the exact water temperature I wanted. With the duel handles it is so much easier to adjust water temperature. The handles do feel loose but plumber said that is not an issue. The shower head is great-I have the flow I need and want. Very nice unit. I feel the price is right too. So far no complaints.

Good handles and faucet, bad shower head

The shower handles and faucet are good solid brass. As is the shower arm. The actual shower head though is cheap plastic with brass-paint-enamel. I have a 100% brass shower head I got for $10 that I'll slap on it. All in all for the price I paid I'm happy and I knew the shower head would be lame from the picture. The rest is good though. If you are installing from scratch and you don't have plumbing experience I'd advise against that. If you are replacing the same configuration though and have some experience with plumbing you should be able to figure it out. Hope that helps.

Nice Reasonably Priced Shower Set

We wanted this look for our shower so we purchased the Kingston Brass set. We really love the looks of it and it operates very well. The shower head we replaced with a hand held/shower head combo because we like those features.

Very Good Product

I originally purchased a Moen Alder set from a big box store which turned out to be a terrible product, it was made cheap and didn't work at all. I found the Kingston Brass and ordered it. What a difference in products. The Kingston is heavier materials and made solid with no plastic parts on them. Works great and was easy to install even though my house is an older house with older plumbing.
