Beautiful shoe

It runs narrow. I am medium width but had to exchange it for wide width. Now they feet perfectly.

Runs smaller than Vaneli shoes normally do.

It said that the shoe runs large, so I ordered a half size smaller, particularly because my foot is slim also. But this shoe was really tight.

Pointed shoes are uncomfortable.

They are too pointed narrow at toes. Nice leather but not something I can't wear comfortably. Nor much arch support .Like the leather soles for dancing but I like more cussion in a shoe.

way too narroow

I was aware of these shoes being very narrow. I wear a 9 N in most flats, but this shoe was so tight that it was painful. My right foot is shorter than my left foot and had to put a heel guard in but that still didn't help the fit of the shoe. I tried 3 different sizes in this shoe and none of them fit. Very disappointed.

Great for low arches -- just ordered 3rd pair

Classic, versatile, flat shoe goes with pants, suits, skirts. They've been my go-to shoes for several years. I've actually worn out the soles on the previous 2 pairs which I don't think I've ever done with shoes before. These shoes pretty much mold to your foot, and there's enough leather in the toe box that they will stay on your feet when you walk. This is one of the few flats that fit my feet well as I have low arches and many flats will gap on the sides or fit funny, but not these. I noticed a slight decrease in comfort between pair #1, which I bought maybe 6 or 7 years ago, and pair #2, which I bought maybe 3 or 4 years ago due to a little less interior padding. Also I think probably the soles are a bit less rugged than some, but the top part of the shoe is pretty durable. These run a little bit tight but not enough for me to get a bigger size. Amazon price was much better than retail.

It is my first time to be shoes online. I have a long and narrow foot and was concerned it wouldn't fit, but I was pretty certain of my size (and measured my foot, as well), and thankful that the shoe fit very nicely. It was a little loose in the heel, but I have narrow heels, and it will easy to fix by putting a heel pad in the back of the heel. The shoe does seem to have some kind of lining. I'm not sure, but there is a suede kind of lining on the inside front half of the shoe and a kind of leather type of lining in the inside back half ending at the heel. The sole is light tan and a type of soft leather. The shoe has a black smooth leather look.

Needed serious stretching

These are graceful shoes in hard-to-find navy blue. They were also ridiculously cheap. However they were excessively narrow and had to be stretched for a long time. I didn't send them back because of the price, but I haven't worn them more than once, so I wish I had just sent them back. I do think I will get more wear out of them in the cooler days as they do best with knee-his. Vanelli can be difficult--I got an adorable pair of white shoes this summer but they had to be a half size longer and then lined with a footpad. Now they are perfect. Vanelli has great styles, one just has to work with their sizing.

Very attractive flat, got a good fit

I read all the reviews about this shoe fitting small, but I took a chance and ordered my regular size, 8M. The fit is fine. I may have gotten a good fit because I am actually in between sizes 7.5 and 8. If I had sized up to 8.5 I think I would have had heel slippage. Also, different colors may have a different fit, as I've learned from experience. I ordered the black nappa. The leather is soft and comfortable. I've always liked this Vaneli style because it gives more coverage on the top of the foot than most flats. The current style for flat shoes seems to be making the top toe area so small that you get toe cleavage showing, and the shoe doesn't stay on very well. This Vaneli shoe stays on easily and doesn't gap very much when I walk.
