Cord Is Not Rubber
The description says it's a durable housing but make no mistake the cable itself is not rubber. It's stiffer than a rubber cord. My motorhome uses a cord reel and while this cord & cable seems good it is just not flexible enough for a cord reel where the temperatures are 50 degrees & lower.

Sturdy cable- used for tesla charging
I used this for my tesla y which only has a 9 foot charging cable. My house receptable is 3 feet away from driveway so the tesla cable wouldnt reach the charging port without backing in rearfirst. So this 10 foot cable allows me to charge more easily headfirst. It seems very sturdy. It will be utilized outdoors so it needs to be tough. Get a tesla adaptor kit so you will have right right connectors. Im limiting my tesla charging to 30 amps just in case. I dont need to find my charging cable or extension cord melted one day. followup. turns out using for tesla may be glitchy. ive been getting failed charging where tesla mobile connector has poor grounding or overheating errors and has to reduce speeds. so if you intend to use this for your ev vehicle it may not work well. guess im going back to parking back end first to reach my tesla connector I would caution people when using with teslas. My mobile connector was damaged by the prior overheating. The Gfci on the mobile connector would be thrown and charging stopped. Replacement mobile connector without extension cord fixed the proble!. If you are going to use it with your tesla I recommend dialing down amps on tesla app.
