Great bag!

Just used this as my carry-on on our recent trip to London. I also have the roll aboard bag that matches this. I really like this bag. It’s SO roomy. I put a TON of stuff in it and still had room to spare. It has a strap to fit it over the rollaboard handle which is very convenient. Very nicely made. Color is exactly as shown. (Blue). I’m hoping to have it for a very long time. Highly recommend.

Good for maximizing my carry-on space

BLUF: Happy with this purchase (in combination w/ the 22’ rollaboard) to facilitate packing significant content without having to check luggage. Purchased in Azure Blue (along w/ Maxlite 5 22’ rollaboard) in hopes of having enough space to avoid checking luggage. The good - size is about the max one can fit under the seat in front of you (no wasted space) although you do have to late it on its back and may have to turn it sideways depending on aircraft; large, open center compartment easily holds a a toiletry kit, a low-profile purse for use upon arrival, a jewelry case, flipflops, and a large travel mug with significant room to spare; larger front zipper pocket holds my iPad and smaller zipper pocket holds my iPhone in its wallet case (easy access). I use the side zipper pocket for my cords, earbuds, or other small peripherals I may want easy access to during a flight. Very much like the azure blue as it is easy to spot and not as boring as black/gray luggage everyone has. Areas for improvement: the trolley strap is really inadequate and should be a true “sleeve” to add stability. The provided strap has a bit of Velcro designed to help it stay in place but it just doesn’t work well, especially if (like me) you’re putting heavier contents in the bag. The bag would be improved with just a bit more rigidity for the bottom and the top. RE the bottom, if you aren’t able to equally distribute the weight of items or just have some heavy items, the bottom of the bag droops. This leads to great instability when transporting this on top of a rollaboard and exacerbates the likelihood of the case flipping around and upturning your suitcase (which is another reason it needs a true trolley sleeve). RE the top - the zipper opening is nice and big but the zipper tends to stick going around corners b/c the case has a flexible lid; a bit more rigidity around the zipper could help with this.

Small but Mighty

My husband has been looking for a more structured bag and this fits exactly that. The bottom of the bag does not bend as so many of the other duffel bags do when using the shoulder strap. It holds all of the items he needs to take on the plane. The added benefit is the luggage strap. It will help when walking in the airport.

Perfect "open concept" small duffle

I decided to purchase this item because I wanted a day to day tote that was like a duffle bag but more sturdy...something that would be soft yet hold it's own shape while sitting on the floor amd be smaller than a gym duffle and sort of stiffer. This is a great small duffle type bag. It can be utilized as an easy under the seat carry on but it can also be used as a work tote, Mom tote, car bag...you name it. I use it for my day to day travels as I need to have several things with me such as snacks, thermos, reading material, extra phone chargers, cosmetic bag...it holds it all and with still maintaining a light weight. I do have the travelpro luggage which I love. Specifically the carryon rolling bag and this bag fits right on top of it. It is soft but I dont find it unbalanced in any way. The most important feature for me was the inside open space design. Like an open concept feature. I love popping open the lid and being able to see what I have in all one spot. There is a zippered portion for your small items or perhaps your wallet and then a large duffle type open section which is light plaid so you can plainly see everything. The zippers cam be locked as well! I use little pouches to tuck my items away so I just grab the appropriate pouch for my charger or cosmetics etc. The side has a zippered part which is great for quick access to a fairly large pocket and the front has 2 zippered lengthwise pockets which is good for a small calendar or passport or tickets. As for what I am able to put in the bag...just about anything. Its deep enough for my water bottle and thermos to sit upright, and I have several books, gel pens, and things to occupy my time while on a plane or waiting area. It rides on my shoulder nicely or I can carry it by padded handles. The bag can be lifted by your pinky finger when empty so YOU are in control now heavy you make it. Would I walk through Italy with it...ha...no because I wouldn't need things to occupy my time. I would use a close to the body secure purse with just the essentials and keep the bag in my hotel room. But for everywhere else it's small convenient and perfect. The rose is like a light lavender. A dusty rose lavender shall we say. It's perfect. For a guy I would go with the darker color but my travelpro luggage is purple and this bag is a nice accent. So dont assume it's just for luggage. It's not. Use it every day and keep everything in one place. Another note. I stay in a lot of hotels and have had fire alarms go off in the middle of the night. Having 1 bag with all my important things is what I grab on the way out. If you have a purse, a work tote, a non essentials bags...etc...its disorganized. This bag will hold it all including a smaller laptop. So pack it and go!! 5 stars. The zippers are a bit stiff because the seams are tougher in the effect of making the bag stand on it's own. The only drawback is no metal footsies on the bottom. This is nice in a way as it can pass for something other than luggage since it doesnt scream "luggage", but be careful where you put it down as it will be sitting directly on the bottom of the bag. Dont put on yucky floor. However the fabric is tough and water resistant and stain resistant so it will be ok if you use good judgment. In the picture it's not as big as it seems on top the luggage. My angle was off so it looks bigger. It's nice and compact. Actually it is 16 inches not 18. You can see the softness of the item but when you sit it down the walls of the bag hold their own that's what I like as I was using a floppy tote purse and when opened it kinds of flops down like a wet noodle. I like having the bag open and not having my stuff flop out.

Amazing size

I bought this on the recommendation of someone online. I was not sure how much it would fit, but I was not disappointed. On a recent cruise I was able to cram in at least three days worth of clothes and accessories. It was a perfect carry-on.

Well Made Tote

I bought this bag hoping to use it as a carry-on personal item. While it would be fine for most domestic flights, I was afraid it would be too small for use on international flights. The bag does appear to be well made and sturdy. It stands up alone, but it will not conform very easily unless it's way under packed. I decided to send it back and go with a smaller bag. I wish Travel Pro would come up with more alternatives for a personal item to carry on international flights.

Looks just right

Grey-green with black straps. The interior is a soft grey waterproof print--not what is shown in the photo online. I like that one end of the bag has a zippered compartment that would be easy to reach from your airline seat--good for bottled water, snacks, etc.. And the side has two zippered compartments, ditto. And the top opens wide and big. The strap feels very comfortable. Well designed. This will be a big improvement for me. I'd considered getting a bag on wheels, but I have more confidence that this size will fit under any seat.

This is a great bag. Yes it’s pricey. But you get what you pay for …I’m crew so all my travel bags are hard working & take a bashing !! It’s roomy enough. Good zoos etc & fits in top of a wheelie…

Perfect size as a bag for personal items to carry and fit under the airline seat in front

Absolute perfect size to store anything you need to carry with you. I don't consider this a carry-on piece of luggage but rather a personal item bag specifically for storage under the seat. I don't use a purse to travel on the plane so this bag is perfect - front zippered storage pockets for passport, boarding pass, wallet/currency, cell phone, etc. Inside can fit travel blanket, travel size laptop, neck protector, jacket, foldable umbrella, book, etc. - whatever you need to carry with you on the plane. Also an inside pocket that I use for storing my medication (things that you don't want to pack into checked luggage). Also comes with a strap for over the shoulder or adjustable for crossbody wear. This bag is a winner.

Wouldn't fit under seat

It is a bit too big to fit under the seat on WestJet flights, so I am disappointed, but overall the bag is very nice and roomy. Stylish appearance, with lots of zippers and compartments
