Thick and straight.
This scraper has some burs on it. I'm going to deburr prior to use. I don't think that is a big deal. Tuning your scraper is just part maintaining your tools. At least it's perfectly flat and straight. However I'm not sure why they don't just deburr it as part of the manufacturing process. It could save them some bad reviews. But maybe that would raise the price and I personally would rather do it myself then pay someone else to do it prior to purchasing.

Great Quality
Far better quality than I expected. What a pleasure. Cuts through PTex with ease and a perfect tool for your tuning kit. Does not flex easily and has sharp clean edges. After years of seeing equipment and tools cheapen and getting thin and disposable tools4boards stepped up and delivered the perfect scrapper.

Should be wider so it covers the width of the board in one pass definitely sharp edge so be careful but definite better than plastic

Got what I paid for.
The scraper had been crudely cut and needed to be "tuned" before use by hand using a (flat) bastard file, to remove the extreme burs.

Edges are unfinished.
The tool is of good quality, however all edges are unfinished. You will need to fileall the edges.

The edges are terrible. There is burrs all over. This one is worse than the one I am replacing.

I found that it was difficult to use for compressing ...
I found that it was difficult to use for compressing repair wax into the base. In consequence it took several attempts to fill cuts as scrapping of excess wax led to cuts losing a proportion of the filling each time.
