High quality sock in more traditional color

Thorlos have always been my go to sock for hiking and walking (or just everyday), but they were typically lighter colors that kind of stuck out when they showed between shoe and pants leg. These black ones have the comfort of Thorlos with the look of a dressier sock. These might (not sure) be a bit thinner than my old Thorlos, but they are still a good thickness. The cost seems high initially, but I've worn and washed and dried my old Thorlos SO MANY TIMES and they are still great shape - good value in the long term.

Do You Deserve To Be This Comfortable?

As I'm sitting here in my Thorlos writing my review, I can definitely say yep! I was turned on to these socks by a coworker about 12 years ago and haven't worn anything else with my work boots since. They're so comfortable, durable, long lasting that I rarely have to replace them. I know there's a pair or two in my drawer they are 10 years old, I just can't tell which pairs. Bottom line, you'll love them.

My favorite sock ever

Nothing beats the silk/wool blend and I sorely miss their charcoal colored ones that were perfect for comfortable business use. They do NOT look like hiking socks, which is great.

Love these socks.

Well padded, well shaped. Fit well, stays up well. and they last a long time. I have about 20 pairs, some as old as 2013 ( from amazon order history).

Package of 2 socks were unisex? but had men's medium on package and may confuse some women...

Loved product as before but were labeled for men not women... this may confuse some women.... Fit was fine but should have been labeled for women or unisex for sizing. Thank you and best wishes, Leslie

Best socks I’ve ever owned

I started buying Thorlo’s in the early 1990s while living in Maine. I used their black and blue crew socks for business as I was a road warrior for too many years. I have a few pairs of Thorlo’s that I bought in 1997 and are still without holes. They are super comfortable with extra padding at heel and toe ball for added cushioning.

Best socks in the world

I have been wearing these socks (and the ultralight version in the summer) for several years now, no other socks, just those. They last forever, are extremely comfortable, and most importantly, they don't smell. It's like magic.
