My wife wanted to be Catwoman (from The Dark Knight Rises) this year for halloween and she saw this product. Even though the price was lower than most we have seen, the picture really sold her. When it arrived, she was very disappointed. These are her reasons: 1) The bodysuit is extremely thin and fully transparent. You see everything and anything right through it. As such, you have to wear clothing underneath to avoid public indecency. The suit is more blue than we expected and the material is not very form fitting (bulky in different regions). In addition, the suit arrived torn which is not a surprise via its thin construction and our recent luck with purchasing through amazon in the last year (third party seller related, not directly through amazon). The boot covers are attached to the bodysuit, and for some reason they are fraying significantly with threads all over it. If we didn't know any better, we would swear it was used prior to our purchase. 2) The mask would be nice, but it arrived bent and we are still trying to form-fit (creases are had to get out) it to my wife's face. The structure of it causes the complete bottom of the mask to lift off her face. I feel this is a problem we can overcome with a heat gun and repositioning the strapping (reattaching in a different place). 3) The belt is what we expected. It is not the best, but good for the price. It looks the part, though the material reflects the price. Overall, we are happy with it. 4) The Cat ear goggles headband is very poor. The flip goggles are fixed in place for the most part and completely comprises with a cheap black plastic which we expected. As such, please note, there are no lenses or details in the goggle setup. Once again, we knew this and were fine with that fact. The issue comes in the form of the head-band itself. It is also a cheap plastic material, which is fine and expected, but it is very small and digs into her head while having no true grip. As she walks around, the band twists, making the goggle ears lopsided and look very odd while the band digs into her head even more. 5) The Gloves are fine. They are comprised of a thinner fabric, yet semi-thicker than the bodysuit. They fit my wife's fingers well, but it is mildly bulky over her forearms. Overall, not bad and fits the profile while remaining functional to move in and pick things up. What we plan to do with it: Via the poor quality and tear in the bodysuit, we decide to purchase a black wetsuit instead and toss the costume bodysuit. We feel this will take care of the transparency issue while creating more security in structural integrity (not easily torn). We are going to cut off the attached boot covers and sew them onto the wetsuit. In time she might just make new ones of purchase boots that fit the part. We are keeping the belt, mask, and gloves, but will most likely have to reconstruct the goggle headband. In summary, the costume was worth the price if you understand the quality you are getting is less than perfect, but in todays throw away society, it was sadly what we expected. If you want perfection, piece it together yourself for best results. I hope this review helps.
