Don't trust the packaging

I ordered this set for a couple and delivered it to their doorstep on their wedding day (during COVID-19) as they chose to have a courthouse wedding in lieu of the traditional one they had planned. I checked the boxes, which were clearly labeled "Mr." and "Mrs.", and pulled the flutes out of the boxes to make sure they did not break during shipping. I did not, however, unwrap them completely to inspect the writing, as I wanted them to look brand new. When the couple opened these on their wedding day to celebrate, both flutes said "Mr." They had their first champagne toast as a married couple as Mr. and Mr. While it was laughed off; I was disappointed that the time and effort that was put into organizing & delivering the gift was ruined by improper packaging
