Best orthotic sandals

Best orthotic sandals ever !! My podiatrist recommended them and she was RIGHT! I am 66 and am developing gaps between my toes due to arthritis and flat feet. Once summer hits here in California, I live in sandals. During the rest of the year, I put Superfeet Black orthotics inserts (also a recommendation from my podiatrist) in my shoes...... which have been life changers for me....... so easy to live with. My feet NEVER hurt anymore and the toe separation is almost GONE!! I didn’t want to loose the improvement in my feet during the summer when I need sandals. The Spenco product is perfect for my needs. My feet look and feel normal again. The sandals are ATTRACTIVE, fit me perfectly (size 7 1/2), light weight, comfortable, don’t stink over time (other brands - even tho made of rubber, sometimes develop a strong mildew odor over time if they get wet - these Do Not). I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Love this sandal. Foot dr recommended bc it has arch support. I wear a size 6. It runs a bit small. My heel just fits in it.

This was a replacement

I don't usually spend so much on a flip flop but 6 years ago I had Plantar Fasciitis and couldn't walk without much pain. Inserts helped but it was summer. The Spenco flip flop was recommended so I tried it. The arch support was terrific and my feet were cool and comfortable all summer. And the summer after that. And so on for 6 years. The band between the toes come out Forth of July weekend. I immediately ordered new Spenco flip flops. I duct taped the old ones until the new arrived. Now I'm good again hopefully for another 6 years

Great support, fit and quality!

This sandal fits great. I have a narrow foot and it hugs my foot. Great support and nice streamlined look.

Comfortable

These are very similar to Vionic flip flops but the arch was forward which was a bit odd for me. I have very high arches and I prefer the arch to be back to support my arch. These would be good for people with flat feet.

Extremely well made.

The structure is excellent. I have very high arches and this shoe is so supportive in all the right ways - I walked 4 miles the other day in them and was absolutely comfortable with no rubbing or abrasion. So nice to have that kind of comfort and support in a cool, open shoe rather than having to wear a tennis shoe on a hot day.

Spenco's are Long Lasting Sandals that are PERFECT for those of us that have problem feet!!!

I had ankle surgery on both ankles due to "rolling ankles" and constant sprains since I was very young. I was recommended to a surgeon, and after 2 surgeries I learned I needed shoes that were not as stylish but...held my feet in place and didn't hurt the bottoms of my feet! These are perfect. I purchased my first pair about 7 years ago and these will be my 3rd. They are so very comfortable, really no break in time... The only thing I would recommend is if you don't like the feel of something between your toes, trying wetting your sandals and leaving them out to dry one or two times and you'll find the fabric get's softer. I highly recommend this item! I give SPENCO 5 STARS for their excellent quality sandals and innovative thinking in creating a footbed which means I am comfortable in them all day and I don't ever feet any pain in my feet, legs or ankles from them!!!
