Sturdy and Attractive Kitchen Sink Mat

Pros: Attractive honeycomb design, rigid but lightweight plastic, raised feet, non-slip surface, may be used on the countertop for drying as well as in the sink. Cons: Mat floats when there is only water in the sink. Mat does not lie flat and slightly bows upward. Side note: Construction of the mat reminds me of a laptop pad.

Fantastic Product

* I keep trying to make a 5 star review but the app will not let me. We have been using these to dry dishes in an industrial kitchen for over a year now. I bought three and cut one in half to fit the area (which it did perfectly) and fixed them together with zip ties. Not only have they held up through constant sanitizing solution (even though I have had to replace the zip ties a few times because they couldn't handle the pressure) but they clean very well and the non-slip surface still works. I would buy 1000 times again.

Who knew?

One minute you're young and fun, the next you're writing reviews of sink mats on Amazon... Alas, here we are. These were something I never knew existed until I searched for them, and it kills me to think of the frustration I could have avoided all this time. We have a white ceramic kitchen sink and it is SO hard to keep it looking clean! We've always used the regular, flat sink mats, but stuff gets trapped under them and the sink always ends up looking yellow in a matter of days after a really through cleaning. These are the perfect solution! I do with they were an inch or so longer, but having them raised a bit from the sink is a game-changer. They also haven't gotten that gross slimy feeling that the other kind always got. It's a little sad how pumped I am to have found these, but I 100% recommend!

Just what I wanted

I leave a dishpan in the sink all the time, so I wanted a raised mat underneath that would let water drain. Have tried others, but none had the little feet on them. This is perfect.

unable to cut opening for drain

i was very much hoping these sink mats with "little feet" would work. Years of using the flat silicone mats retained water/soap and scum on my stainless sinks. However I always cut out the drain hole... ease for garbage disposal etc. I found unable to do this safely... sharp edges, would need special cutters... decided to return them. Request making a mat with little feet that one can customize with cutting out for drain

I cook a lot. This sink isn’t for decoration. I no longer regret getting a porcelain sink because of these mats. These mats are worth the price for the housework saved. They work on the same principle as metal racks in industrial kitchen sinks; preventing damage but allowing water and waste to flow away. The mats sit on raised bump-legs over the porcelain surface. This means that sink waste isn’t trapped on the surface either, so no more yellow stains from trapped food and coffee. We had plastic flat rock-like sinks mats which trapped waste under them. It would take a stain cleaner and then sealing it with a ceramic cleaning coat frequently to make the sink look good. I haven’t had to do that since I got these mats. Using the garbage disposal is a simple matter of lifting the rigid mat. And they look cool!

The Best

I love these- I had them in my last home sink made of stainless steel. Now my new home has a farmers sink and I had to get these again too make sure my Pyrex mugs wouldn't break.
