Great!

My son loves these trunks. He’s typically a boys medium (8-10), but after reading the reviews, opted to get him a small. Fits perfectly.

Runs very small

Nice product with great fabric and construction for kids, but the sizing runs very small. in fact I had to place a new order for another immediately after receiving the first one in Medium as it could not fit my 10 year old son who wears a 10/12

Great Swim Trunks

Speedo Black Size Small These are great swim trunks from Speedo. The size small fits my slim 8 year old perfectly. They are very well made and feel high quality. The review sample came in an clear plastic bag with tags on it. The inside waist and mesh is red on the black shorts. They have a comfortable and adjustable elastic waist band with drawstring. Nice back pocket with a center piece of velcro to keep it closed. There is a nice looking rivet for a drain hole at the bottom of the pocket. They are made in Vietnam and recommended to be washed in cold water with dark colors, then low heat dry. The shell is 100% nylon and the lining is 100% polyester. 5 star quality.

These seem a little large.....

IMHO my grandson is average size I think. He wears size 5 so I thought these would be just right for him. They are a little large on him. He's going to be swimming this summer on a team and I thought these would be great for him. I plan to get the matching shirt for these and I probably still will to use here or at home. He has a swim trunk with shirt made from the same fabric and it does help him with not having a sunburn. The construction of these is great seams are reinforced and the inside red trunks are a good, heavy solid stretchy fabric. Maybe by July-Aug he will be a little heavier and use these. I doubt he'll be able to save them a year.

Well Made Swim Trunks

I am very pleased with the Speedo Boys Sun Ray Volley Short Swim Trunk; this is nice looking and well made and fits true to size. My 8 year old grandson is on the thinner side and these stayed on perfectly. The elastic waist is stretchy but fits tightly once all the way on. The trunks come with mesh liner to help everything stay secure while in the water. Material dries quickly outside of the water and has soft texture. Easy to wash instructions and did not fade or look washed/used after coming out of wash. Very nice quality. I would purchase these.

Fits well, looks good, affordable

We got this for my eight year old son for the summer. After the first swim he says that all is well. He likes how they look and feel and the ties do work to make sure everything is on tight enough so that is good. The black might be a little hot in the dead of summer but for now it is great.
