Exact size for a 5# bag of cat food

Got this container because cats were sneaking into the pantry and chewing holes in the bag of cat food. It fits a 5# bag of cat food. It stays closed and is easy to pour from. It can actually be tricky to open, my wife has spilled it twice opening it. Pro tip: set it on a counter to open it. In the picture, the container was empty when I opened the bag and all the food went into it.

The freshest cereal

This container reminds me of my ex-girlfriend Sarah. I used to leave the cereal boxes open and my cereal would get stale. One day I came home and she had bought me one of these and now my cereal is so fresh. It's the freshest cereal.

Nice container

Good container. A but pricey but I didn’t care because it matched all the others of different sizes that I purchased. I really like the Rubbermaid Brilliance line overall and have both plastic and glass. It was very important to me that it could go in the dishwasher. I use this particular size for my cat’s prescription food. Two of these containers just hold an entire 8# bag. One thing I do not like: when pouring the food it gets caught on the lip of the spout at the airtight seal, and I have to be careful not to overtilt and cause a big rush of food coming out. It’s kind of annoying. But I suppose that’s the only way to make it stay airtight and fresh.

Great product

I love that they are a very clear plastic. They are sturdy and easy to hold and pour. The seals on the lids are tight and keep everything fresh. I would recommend.

O love that it fits perfectly in the cabinet and keeps the cereal fresh. I can hold one large box of cerearl or two small. I wish they made the same design for small quantities, I think it would be useful for other things

On aime : -la transparence du contenant qui permet de voir son contenu de tous les côtés -le couvercle plat qui permet d’empiler les contenants et sauver de l’espace -la poignée moulée dans le plastique qui facilite la prise du contenant même pour les petites mains -la grande capacité qui permet de stocker les céréales de boîtes format familiale On aime moins : -le rabat de l’ouverture qui ne reste pas ouvert et qu’il faut tenir pour verser mais c’est utile car empêche les céréales de sortir trop vite (évite les dégâts des enfants)

Serving lid section issues

Useful for daily use

I use this container to hold cat food. The transparency allows me to see when I need to refill while the lid ensure the food stay fresh inside an airtight space. I would like Rubbermaid to consider offering the same container without the pouring spout as I personal do not think the spout is as airtight as the rubber rim around the lid.

Arrived missing the lid

Ordered two. One came with the grey flip lid attached and one was missing this very crucial piece. Disappointing.
