Entry mat

Nice rug - similar to the more expensive waterhog brand. It has a lower profile from than waterhog, but it definitely water proof. The rug does however have is a very strong petro smell. Let it air out before bringing inside.

Nice Mat!

I just got this mat and really do like it. It looks very sturdy. It is quite heavy too, which to me is a good thing because hopefully that means it will hold up well to daily use. The color of blue is brighter than the picture, more of a bright royal blue, but I still like it. It did come rolled up but does lay flat so that wasn't a problem. I did notice a smell from the rubber bottom when unwrapping the mat and laying it down onto the floor. But even a few hours later the smell was no longer noticeable. I did sweep it once so far and found it easy to sweep up the lint and dirt. My old rug tended to be hard to sweep so hopefully this one is better. The pattern is nice and the material feels soft enough. So far I like this mat better than my old one. Time will tell if this holds up, though. I did have my old one for years before it finally fell apart. I hope this one lasts that long too. I also got this for an amazing deal from warehouse deals. It said used like new but you can tell it was never even opened and was brand new. Must just have been because the outer plastic packaging was ripped in one tiny spot. However, it was well worth getting over $20 off. I am glad I bought this mat!

Excellent mats

I have 6 of these mats. We first bought 3 to place in the dog area so when a dog has an accident it is contained. I bought a 4th mat to put under the dog water dish, dogs tend to be messy drinkers and splash water. I bought a 5th smaller Rubber Cal mat to put in front of the refrigerator to contain spills from dropped items and from the water dispenser in the refrigerator door - very young children sometimes overflow their cup. The mat is perfect for that job. The mats are very easy to clean - hang them on the fence and hose them off, for urine I spray some Lysol on the mat then let it sit for few minutes and then hose it off, let them dry in the sun, and they are as good as new. They are light enough to handle. The rubber backing helps keep them in place on the floor.

but this is so great that I had to take the time

I don't usually review things, but this is so great that I had to take the time. We bought it to sit on the patio along side the hot tub. It's absolutely perfect for that application. Heavy duty, it won't move around, and obviously adds a lot of safety to getting out of the tub onto a slippery surface.
