Look good, bought a little bigger than usual

The shoe looks and fits just like I would expect. I tried on a pair at a store and typically wear a 10 but I really liked the fit of the 10-1/2 in this shoe. The store didn't have the color and style in that size so I went to Amazon. They felt comfortable for my first day wearing. The only odd thing is it feels like the transition from the heel to front part of the shoe is under the arch of my foot which felt funny to begin with but quickly got used to it. Only time will tell how they wear in as the leather does feel super soft. I sprayed them with some sofsole waterproofer to keep them looking good.

Weird Heel

I liked the look and fit, but the level of the heel does not match the rest of the shoe. It forces your foot into a jarring heel-to-toe movement with each step. Had to return for the sake of my knees.

Comfortable but Clunky Look

The shoes are very comfortable first off and if you have wide feet they are perfect in that sense. Though from a looks stand point they are a bit of a clunker, lots of padding around the ankle coupled with the wide profile make them a moon boot look. I was hoping for a look that let me wear them to the office and out to construction sites but they really don't belong in the office just out in the field. If I hadn't ordered them online I would of taken them back since they do not fit my needs but I'm going to keep them and use when I can. Lastly the weathered leather looks good so that's an added plus.

Picture doesn't match, but I still like the shoes

I was trying to replace my old Roper shoes. Local stores carried the new style. I found this image on Amazon and I thought I was in luck. Sure enough, the new style arrived. I know I could have returned it, but the shoe is really comfortable and I'm getting used to the new style.

Fits well. Comfortable. I buy a pair every year. Wish they lasted longer

Light weight leather shoe

Very soft leather. The soles are much different then I expected. I removed the insoles & placed my Spenco flat green inserts in their place so I can use my Birkenstock orthotics, as I can't wear shoes without my orthotics due to high arches. Orthotics fit perfectly. At first they were pretty comfy, so decided to wear them to work. Down hill from there. The shoes have an annoying heel that makes walking feel a bit awkward. The soles are thinner then I'm used to, and after walking in them for most of the day I could tell they are not a very good work shoe. So it was an expensive lesson. I wear Roper performance slip on shoes so thought these would be comparably, but not even close. I will end up using these around the house with my Birkenstock foam orthotics, as it will make them bearable to wear. Ended up ordering a new pair of Roper Performance shoes. Those are the best Ropers made. Don't recommend these.....

stitches failed

The stitching popped loose one side. I'm returning these and trying another pair.
