Nice Shampoo for Oily Hair
Rating this shampoo based on its performance just as a shampoo and not a hair loss product. I have pretty oily hair, what I like about this shampoo is it seems to cut through the oil and leave your hair feeling clean, but it doesn't dry out your hair so much it gets frizzy or splits from being so dry. Hard to explain into context but it cuts just enough oil out of hair without removing a damaging amount. I can't prove anything, but I think the anti-DHT and preventing hair loss advertisement is just a sales gimmick, I started buying this when I was in panic mode and believed all the scams companies try to sell you to prevent hair loss. If you are suffering from hair loss, do yourself a favor and actually see a specialist who may be able to prescribe something like finasteride that will actually help you. I just continued buying this due to liking its performance as a shampoo.

Works great, but expensive
It worked very well on my thin and fine curly hair. I was very skeptical at the beginning because my hair started falling out even more than before, but it turned out that my hair was so damaged that it needed a long overdue haircut. Cutting my hair seems to have helped and it’s not falling out like it used to. The shampoo did help my hair look shiny, full, and healthy. I noticed that when I use other shampoos that are made specifically for curly hair, my hair loses its shine and goes back to looking frizzy, which is strange. The shampoo smells minty. A little goes a long way. You do need a hair conditioner if you have dry hair. Mine is. You also need to figure out what works best for your hair. There are unfair things, other than the shampoo, that we do to our hair that really damage it (i.e., hot water, brushing hair when it’s wet, using the wrong hair products, etc). Although I really like the shampoo, I think it’s too expensive, so I’m not sure I’ll be buying it on a regular basis. That’s my only problem with it. I honestly don’t see why the good shampoos have to be THAT expensive.

Love love love!
I suffered from major hair loss when trying to get pregnant. During pregnancy my hair filled in but I was so scared that it would all fall back out postpartum. My husband was talking with his friend whose wife had the same problem. She recommended using this shampoo and conditioner. I started right after giving birth and I have not noticed any hair loss more than normal. I will never switch to anything else. You also don’t need much so it last’s longer than you would think. This one is on my subscription list!

I may be losing hair still, but at least it finally feels great
It's perhaps too early to conclusively say whether this product helps fight hair loss or not...but I can still say that I like it. It's pricey, sure, but it honestly leaves my hair feeling fantastic. The best endorsement I can offer for Revivogen is this--never has a shampoo left my hair and scalp feeling so great. Keep in mind that I've been using shampoo for a long time... But seriously, I quit taking Propecia a few months back and decided to give this a shot. I've certainly lost hair since quitting Propecia, but this product does leave my hair feeling fuller and easier to style. Any growth or prevention would be an added benefit in my opinion. Despite the hair loss, my hair really hasn't looked this great in a while.

I was looking for a replacement for Nioxin ever since they changed the formula. This shampoo is the best I ever ordered! First, it is SLS-free which means it is gentle on the scalp. It lathers really well with using only a small amount and gives a nice tingly feeling to your scalp. It has a great minty smell. The formula also includes zinc pyrithione and selenium sulfide, which has some anti-dandruff properties. And it helps give my thinning hair a little volume. SO if you are looking for these things in a shampoo, this will fit the bill perfectly. What it will probably NOT do, however, is regrow or slow down your hair loss. So if you are a getting it for this purpose, don't get your hopes up. There is no shampoo out there that can magically do that. For all other reasons though this shampoo is worth the extra money.

I've ordered this now regularly for more than 10 years and do recommend it.
I've used this for years off and on with the conditioner and YES it does optimize your chance to keep and enhance your hair. I noted though that if I use it two days in a row in my case I get a bit of a reaction. But not always. NO SHAMPOO will grow your hair off if you're as bald as an egg. But it will activate follicles that were dying and optimize your ability to keep your hair. I've ordered this now regularly for more than 10 years and do recommend it.

Very effective for me
Love this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo lifts all products/sprays/etc from my hair as well as leaving it squeaky clean and the conditioner has a cooling effect and leaves it soft and shiney. Benefits: great products- my hair grows like a weed when i use it on a regular basis. Cons: every two week haircuts, LOL! Great product. A bit pricey but it works for me. took about 3-4 weeks to see results, keeps my hair from falling out, and my spot on my crown is getting thicker. Use it and see for yourself! Thanks

I'm so happy trying this product ,thanks to my aunt's recommendation. I was well surprised when I got it because it had these little samples , which I gave to a friend of mine. It smells fresh and minty that you can even feel it on your scalp ,my hair is flawless and I don't have to wash it every 2 days as normal.

Gave me dandruff
I used this shampoo two or three times. Initially it gave a clean feeling but soon I started getting dandruff so stopped usinh it. It certainly didnt do anything for my hairloss - which still continues. Three stars only because it smells nice and lathers up well.

It is a shampoo that despite its cost I do not see any change at all... doubtful benefits for your hair but I think that is the situation with all these products ....it's all in the mind that you think you doing your best to save your hair ..stress is the problem and usual mens hairloss issues
