Check the pins in the plug on truck side of harness

I like this product and installation was easy enough. However the pin inside the coupler for the tail lights was slightly bent and wouldn’t make contact. It took a couple of hours trying to run down the problem. After process of elimination determined it had to be a problem with the harness. Almost returned it as defective but finally figured out the problem and was able to fix it. It shouldn’t be a problem now. It appears to be of good quality otherwise.

Works just fine

I transport trailers nation wide doe a living. The oem plug finally wore out so much I was having trailer connection issues. Was sceptical of this one. Purchased it. Installed it. Almost 10k miles and 1.5 weeks later this is still performing beautifully. No connextion problems at all. This is installed on a 2004 Ford F350 dually diesel..

OEM Quality product you can rely on

i went through just about all brands of 7-Way Plug Connectors trying to fix my ford f150 2013 trailer lights and this was the only one that works don't waste your time whit the cheeper 7-way plugs you can find

Perfect fit and clean look.

Was very easy to install and plugged right into factory plug. A must have if adding trailer hitch on pickup not equipped for it from factory. Highly recommended.

will work, but needs another part

Reece is a world class brand, they have great products. But this one, at least with my 2002 Silverado 1500, it needs another wiring coupler that goes between the truck(which has factory bare wires, protected of course) and the actual plug coming out the back of this. I'm giving it 4 stars, based on the fact nowhere on this site(amazon) did it mention there might be another piece needed to make this work. The price here was great($42 at an auto place-same part number). Even Walmart had a good price, but none in stock and ship-to-store is very sketchy there(at least my Walmart). I guess I'll use my savings to find the part around here and at least break even. I'm sure it's my fault for not looking further into this and be certain everything was included before purchase.

Doesnt fit 2007-2013 Silverado (not the twistable type)

I just received this item less than two hours ago and went out to install it on my 2010 Silverado. Amazon has it listing at it will fit, BUT it does not! This is not a twist on replacement like my truck requires. So after running to lowes and buying some self tapping screws. I made it work vs having to return it. NEXT, the four prong will not fit anywhere and it's too short to even run to the edge of the bumber. So all around this sucks for a newer body Silverado 2007-2013. BUY A TWISTABLE REPLACEMENT

Reese Towpower 74682 7Way Muti-Plug T-Connector

Didn't fit my 2011 Ranger as was said to on the site. But Amazon refunded my money and told me I didn't need to send it back. I was well pleased with the way they handled the mess up. I'm sure on the correct vehicle this would hook up quickly and work just fine as do Reese products always seem to perform and last. I probably would have given it a 5 star had I actually got to connect it and use it. No fault of Reese's.

Got it right

I bought this back in January 2018 the first one I got installed wasn't very good kept losing signal losing the screen it wouldn't work but the company sent me out another a newer version of guess it is and this one worked perfect two pictures clear I don't lose a signal I use it more now than ever had the other one I highly recommend buying the newer version of this because it works 10 times better than the old one I recommend this product anyone

Does Not Fit Truck With Factory Installed Hitch And Harness.

I ordered this because it said it would fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4 door TRO. It is a nice set up but it does not it my truck. My truck has a factory hitch and wire harness that came on the truck new as part of the factory trailer package. It has that two square plugs on it. This one has one large round plug. Had the shop remove the round plug and splice in the square plugs. It now works well, but is not just a unplug and replug hook up. Extra labour cost to make this work, instead of being a plug and use installation.I chose not to return because truck was at shop I needed to move my trailer.

Great replacement

This plug simply replaces the stock plug on your truck by disconnecting the old one and plugging in the new one.They provide plenty of wire (length) and the entire assembly is well made and durable.Would not hesitate to purchase this unit again...5 stars

The harness side of the plug fit perfect. The plug did not align with the factory mounting bracket, a minor issue. Would use this product again.
