The Ray-Ban glasses were exactly as described. I love them! These exact frames at my optical center cost 3 times as much than I paid for them here. I took them and had my prescription lenses put in them. They look great on me.

Can't do it yourself

I tried putting the lens in myself, the screws were left too tight on the metal frame for me to remove, I tried every tool in my disposal. I had to use my old clubround metal frames.

Miserable Qualität, brutale Verfärbung und miserabler Service des Herstellers

Diese Brille hatte ich vor knapp drei Jahren hier gekauft. Von Anfang an war ich nicht wirklich begeistert, aber nachdem sie sehr günstig war, hatte ich sie behalten und erst einmal zurück gelegt. Sie hatte von Anfang an schon kleine Einschlüsse, Bläschen im Kunststoff des Rahmens. Das habe ich dann mal so akzeptiert. Sie lag dann jetzt gute zwei Jahre in ihrem Etui im Schrank. Nun wollte ich Gläser einfassen lassen und nehme die Brille aus ihrem Etui und stelle fest, der Rahmen um die Gläser ist tief gelb verfärbt. Wie Nikotinverfärbung. Die Bügel sind nach wie vor klar. Kein bisschen Verfärbung dort. Diese Brille hat in all der Zeit nie das Tageslicht gesehen. Es gab keine Möglichkeit für sie, wegen Licht zu vergilben. Das hat sie ganz einfach von selbst im Dunklen in ihrer Hülle geschafft. Wirklich komplett inakzeptabel. Gut, nun ist es ja nichts Neues, dass die Brillen von Rayban, seitdem sie von Luxottica in Mailand übernommen wurden, stark an Qualität eingebüßt haben. Kein Vergleich der Qualität mehr zwischen einer alten B & L Clubmaster zum Beispiel, und einer neueren. Sie knacken, knirschen, sind aus billigeren Materialien. Diese hier zum Beispiel ist made in China. Gut, auch das muss jetzt noch nicht wirklich was heißen. Aber das Ergebnis sieht man ja auf den Fotos ganz deutlich. Ich habe dann den Hersteller kontaktiert. Die Sache geschildert, Fotos eingeschickt und freundlich nachgefragt, ob man auch nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit in so einem Fall irgendetwas machen kann. Mir wurde vorgeschlagen, einen Service-Auftrag anzulegen. Habe ich gemacht. Die Antwort: meine Garantiezeit ist abgelaufen. Ja, das wusste ich schon. Aber ich kann kostenpflichtig, einen Ersatz bekommen. Das Angebot war, ich kann die gleiche Brille direkt vom Hersteller neu beziehen. Nur leider zu einem Preis, der höher ist, als der, den ich ursprünglich bezahlt habe. Also herzlichen Dank an Luxottica! Sie bieten Ersatz an, der dann teurer ist als der ursprüngliche Artikel. Danke, aber nein, danke!
