Oregon makes good chainsaw blades

Nothing better than a sharp chainsaw blade. Oregon includes lots of safety instructions with their products. Too bad they don't include safety instructions for opening their plastic chainsaw package. They use sixteen (yes 16) plastic rivets to seal the package. There is no easy way to open the package. A box cutter works but if the blade slips, you have a nasty wound.

Replaced on MS170

I’ve replaced with 16inch Stihl brand chains multiple times and even sharpened them but new or resharpened, all dull after 1 days use. Without exact scientific measurements, Oregon seems to have lasted more than 2 days before getting dull.

Perfect fit for Stihl MS170

Bought this for my Stihl chainsaw 16". It came very sharp and was easy to install on my saw. I've only used it a few times but thus far it has performed quite well.

BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL CHAIN

I have a Stihl MS171 and needed a new chain - Gave this one a try and I am really impressed- the chain is identical to the manufacturer chain and it and this chain cuts great- I helped a neighbor clean up a 80 year old oak tree that fell never needed sharpening or changing .Highly impressed!

Do yourself a favor and get this chain immediately for your Stihl MS 170. It's a night and day difference with cutting power, sharpness, and overall use. 10/10

I put the chain on my MS 170 Stihl and the saw cut like never before. I have cut up 2 trees and haven't had to sharpen it. Big difference from other products

I think this chain is better than OEM supplied. My saw cuts better with it. Hold an edge better than original chain.

Broke a tooth on first nail.

Fit the saw but it’s a soft chain. Broke a couple of teeth the first nail I hit. The chain that came with my saw gets dulled by nails but doesn’t break.
