It's actually accurate.

I've tried several humidity guages, this was the first that is even close to accurate. I tested with various controls and against 2 other cheaper humidity gauges, which were worthlessly inaccurate. Only 4 stars because the first one was DOA, but Amazon covered return shipping and shipped out another right away, without waiting for the return to arrive.

Humidity specs wrong

It worked as avertised but i was not happy with the humidity specs. It showed to be a 2% accuracy and the sensor inside is a sht-11 by Sensiron which specs the chip at 4% which is not what i paid for. All other functions worked ok. I just like to get what i paid for and how they came up with the better specs is beyond me.

Not bad

I use for hvac. Broke the first one, my fault that I was too rough and. cracked the screen. Second jumped from 60 to 56 wet bulb...no matter where I was, returned it. 3rd one is good.

Good Product

I use this in industrial applications. I have noticed it can take some extra time to stabilize the reading, especially if you move to a temp that is drastically different. It can take up to a minute in those situations. So if you are patient, not a big deal.

I really like it when it worked

worked for about 5 weeks. then it fixed on 6.96%RH and between 51.65 and 51.70 degrees. It's not on "Hold", it just won't come off of those numbers. I've tried to find a reset factory defaults with no success. I really like it when it worked, but with Amazon's 30 day return policy, it appears I'm SOL. It has a 1 year parts warranty, but I doubt that's going to buy me anything.

Inaccurate RH reading

I am an HVAC student and bought two similar meters. Both seem to give me accurate temperature but they differ on rh by about 11%-12%. I have not yet figured out a way to determine which of the two meters is correct but once I do I will update this review. Meanwhile I'm only going to give the meter 2 stars because I live in south Texas where we normally have high humidity and I highly doubt that a 54% rh is correct. ***update*** I did a salt test to check to see which meter was correct and my suspicions were correct. This Pyle meter was farther from the 75% rh than the other meter. Needless to say I will be returning this meter and have changed my rating for this meter from 2 to 1 star. The temperature reading was correct, but if I can't trust the rh reading the I won't be able to trust the dew point and wet bulb temperature readings. Sorry Pyle but I gave you a chance.

ne convient pas pour l'horticulture

comme indiqué dans le titre, je l'avais commandé afin de contrôler l'humidité et la température auprès de mes orchidées mais il semble que 80-90% d'humidité ait eu raison de lui au bout de 3 jours. à déconseiller pour cet usage
