Install is rough

Product itself seems pretty nice and works well BUT The install on this ceiling fan was extremely tough. It was a tight squeeze every step of the way and the bracket/canopy does not offer an inch to spare in terms of space. I am not an electrician and this was my first time installing a ceiling fan and it took me 4 hours. My husband helped here and there. It’s a good value but the assembly is insane. It pretty much builds one assembly on top of another, over your head, and trying to tighten screws, while not being able to see anything, all at the same time. Inow know why the cost of this one was well below retail.

Beautiful fan

I love this fan. Did not love the installation as with many of the reviews. The receiver (black box) has to be shoved in a small spot - that yes it fits into - but when your pressed against ceiling at an odd angle the last thing you want is to fight with the receiver and not undo any of the electrical wires you just twisted together. This can be done yourself if your handy AND comfortable enough to know the power is OFF. If you dont have patience or not comfortable with electricity - hire a professional. The remote function is great! No more pulling on the strings, 3 different fan settings. You can even set it up to turn on the light at a certain time. After a month the remote no longer linked to the fan. Followed the instruction booklet (yes we keep everything!) to re-sync but still no luck. Called customer service they walk you through the same instructions in the book. But they determined it wasn't solely the remote (since it started draining batteries during the phone call which is important to note) but also the receiver. They sent a new reciever to put replace the bad one (yay????????‍♀️) and a new remote to re-sync. So far everything is back to normal. Despite these headaches - Yes - i would recommend this fan! Great customer service! Beautiful light and fan! We have ours over the dinning room table. Other’s mentioned the light wasn't bright and only lit up below the dome. I don't think this is a valid complaint - I’m not sure how you would want the light to shine above the dome? Maybe a different chandelier fan would be better for their needs? I know I have been blinded by the “buy now” button with out doing my research and reading the reviews.

Design FAIL, but not a deal breaker

I ordered 2 of this fan. One was to be a flat mount and the other was to be an angled mount. For either kind of mount- the biggest issue with this fan is that you can not check that your wire connections are correct unless every single piece of the fan is assembled. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! So, make sure you are equipped with the time and patience to take everything apart at least once if your home does not have matching wire colors and you are left to make educated guesses. Straight mount: everything connects and lines up just fine. The down rod is nice and short so the fan does not feel too low. Angled mount: NOPE. It says you can angle it, but the mount cover does not have a big enough hole for that. We had to use the white cover from the old fan… it looks a little odd, but the ceiling fan mount cover is not often the focus of a room, so one can get over that fairly easily. The short down rod is easily swapped for a longer one from a hardware store. Overall- the fans are nice looking and work well. The remote is easily mounted to the wall and functions great. The lighting is unexpectedly mighty, which I am glad of! The lowest fan setting is pretty much perfect for air circulation that does not dry the eyes.

Perfectly Beautiful and Functional

These fans are just awesome, I can’t think of one negative thing to say about them. I bought 3 of them for my recently purchased home that had no ceiling fans, which are a must in the south. I mulled over different styles for a while and these kept making my list as the style I wanted yet affordable. I can’t say anything about the installation because I had a trusty electrician do all that work, but it only took them a few hours to install all of them. The controls are really cool, I didn’t even realize when I bought them that they come with a wall plate that you can remove the remote from and use on its own. The light has a dimmer too, you just have to hold down the light button and it will go to whatever shade you want.

Good looking, good quality, dim light

This is a very nice looking fan. It is quiet, and works well. I took away one star because of the solid metal light fixture. The result is a fairly dim room, maybe ok for some rooms, probably too dim for others.

Remote unit hard to fit into fan base

Put this on a covered outside patio. I just love this fan. Another review stated bulbs too bright, but lights dim if you put continuous pressure on the light control.

Beautiful fan

Love this fan and the color of the blades. Looks great in my living room. The light bulbs are not as bright but it makes it feel cozy. Installation was not painless but once it’s up it’s worth it
