Pretty great blender, if you use 3 it will be liquid, no joke
This blender is great for the price point. I would say all the buttons are easy to follow and do what they say. Great machine!

Another Good Product from Hamilton Beach
We have learned to trust Hamilton Beach my other half is a retired Professional Chef who worked at the Ritz Carlton. She likes Bosch, Gerber knives, Kitchenaid, and brands I've never heard of, and most of it we can't afford for our own house, but Hamilton Beach we can. We also have an indoor grill and percolator from Hamilton Beach. We debated about getting this one or an Oster and this one had more features and a similar motor so we decided on this and she's happy with it which makes my life easier. Sometimes even if you may think another product would be better it's more prudent to let your other half choose. She's excited about the upcoming Holidays and using this product for the festivities and I think if she's fine with this product you will be too.

Powerful, easy to use
I loved this blender! My previous blender did not crush ice, which I hated, so I was definitely ready to put "PowerMax" blender to the test. I've used it for margarita slushies and frozen pina coladas, and it's performed beautifully. To start - the blender is not huge. Comes in 3 pieces; lid, base, and glass container. The glass is thick, and the base is heavy enough so that you don't have to worry about it shaking or falling over. I found the parts easy to separate and clean, although like any blender it's still a little bit of a pain if you want to clean it properly. Now, for the power - excellent. This is a strong blender that uses a lot of electricity, FYI for those with old wiring (I had to make sure it was the only item on the outlet that I used). Once it got going it pureed that ice no problem, within minutes, and created a delicious slushie texture. I did note a couple small pieces of ice, but no bigger chunks. Sound - this blender uses a strong motor, so it's very loud. Don't run this while the baby is sleeping. Controls - the blender uses flat buttons, which I definitely prefer over any kind of touchscreen. It doesn't have a plethora of options but it has enough. There is a liquefy option. One small gripe. I did notice the plastic wring that is twisted on the glass blender felt a bit light and thin. I've had blenders in the past that broke due to this piece not being strong enough to hold the weight of the blender after prolonged use. I would be careful with it. Overall, I highly recommend this blender.

Very nice solidly built, blender that works great with a strong motor.
The media could not be loaded. The Powermax blender by Hamilton Beach, is a very well built, traditional blender. With its powerful motor, extra thick seal to keep it quiet and quality to last, this might be a great choice for you. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It’s made very well, out of good materials leading me to believe it should last for a long time, assuming the electronics hold up. The main body is a thick glass, that is getting harder to find. I wouldn’t put this blender at the very top of the quality scale, but it solidly on the lower end of the upper tier. II. Usability – Its very simple to put together and use. In fact, it only has a few buttons, but you don’t really need a lot of buttons on a blender. It works great at chopping and blending and has handled everything I’ve thrown at it, with a smile. The clean-up is also simple, easy. Overall, this is a great basic blender that is built very well by a known brand that makes a lot of quality products. This is a great choice if you’re looking for a very nice quality blender that blends great and that’s about it. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
