Decent reel I want to like more.

When I got this reel, I was excited to give it a try. I only use 500 size ultralight reels. I own the most popular ones and this one was worth a try. It was stiff on the crank but after two consecutive days of use, it freed up. Now it's making noise and sounds like it needs to be lubed. It is nice but need work. I did buy this new, not giving up on it.

TO MUCH GREASE

I read recent reviews and found out why its not as smooth as wanted. FACTORY GOT CRAZY WITH GREASE. Took apart and cleaned out extra grease and WOW. What a big difference. You welcome

My husband loves it

Decent reel for the money

The reall is decent for the money. Inner parts are not the highest quality so make sure if you use it regularly, you do the reel maintenance every 6 months. if you drop in sand or dirt clean it right away as the gears will get ruined.

HELP

Having trouble with this reel. Spooled with 8lb line and nothing but rats nest after rats nests. Tried 10lb and the line came off the spool in a mess. Any suggestions? It’s my 10yr old sons and he is so frustrated with his brand new reel! He was so excited to get his first Abu amd is very very disappointed.
