Yarn is great
This yarn is comfortable for not only hats, but blankets too! While the Yarn is great, AMAZON Delivery was not so great.....The company NEEDS TO IMPLEMENT A RAIN POLICY! They need to put the boxes in a plastic bag when it is raining! The box was saturated!

Sized for infants
First of all, I love these. I think they’re adorable, and I want the entire set. Having said that, I didn’t realize how small they were. They’re sized for infants, and I’m making them for toddlers. I had to go buy another skein of yarn because the yarn that’s in this kit is not enough for a toddler’s head. Regardless, I still love them. I prefer using a natural fiber than a synthetic one, so I just spent about another $3 on cotton yarn. I would order again with the foreknowledge that I’ll have to buy more yarn.

Cute quick knitting project
This was a fun and easy project to make. Very quick since the hat is small. My yarn came with the pattern on the back and you can find a video on YouTube if you need help. There is also a crochet pattern on YouTube. The yarn is soft and does split some but it’s not so much of a problem while knitting as it would be for crochet. I am excited to show my daughter. The hat is soft and there is plenary of yarn to make the pattern with.

top flops
I have knit several DMC "Top This" hats--they have a piece of foam to stabilize the topper. This Lion Brand kit has a piece of stretchy cord which is very inadequate. I tried attaching the topper twice but it flops all over. I'll need to fix it in several more places and I've ordered foam to cut my own stabilizers like the DMC hats for the other Lion Brand hat kits I purchased. I find this hat to be really cute and easy to make, although I would have preferred instructions in the round, but the topper issue makes the kit cheaply done, a bit surprising from Lion Brand.

Hard to find
Sooo cute, but costly. Crochet projects come out scratchy. Knitted projects fairly soft. Had to use soften treatment on the crocheted lovey I made.

Cute!
I didn’t like the pattern offered, so I found one of my Others. I found the colour mix a bit too “busy” by itself, but it looked super when I combined it with a plain thread. This made a cute hat!

The instructions for the knitted hat were very clear. It does not take very long to complete the hat, and the sesame street character placed on the top makes it extra special for a child to wear.

On the pricey side. Made of acrylic. Some projects may need to be softened. Knitted hat was fine. Crochet projects were scratchy.
