My little personal healthcare companion
This item was purchased for my 6 1/2 year old, as the description reads children ages 4-12. It could easily be worn up to a 12 year old's size, and perhaps a smaller adult size. You will need 4 AA batteries for the battery pack that attaches to the waist band of whatever you will be wearing under your costume; fan is on the back of the costume. The mask is plastic with an elastic band allowing it to be adjusted slightly in size. 'Puffy' gloves are included in this, however there is no costume 'sucker' (just wanted to clarify as the description didn't outline this but the picture showed one). The puffiness of the costume will allow the person wearing it to walk like Baymax, and it was quite entertaining to watch. Although my picture makes it a bit more challenging to see, the patchwork appearance that is showing in the product picture on this page is accurate. There is also the small part near the heart where the card went as in the movie (it is just an image of this, not a functioning part of the costume) I would definitely suggest white under the costume, or it appears more translucent than it really is. A little work, but then perfection.
We bought this one as well as the red super-hero version of Baymax for both our boys for Halloween and here's what I can tell you...both are good quality and totally adorable. They were NOT equal in size; although both are listed as being one-size-fit-all-children, they are actually arrived labeled as size 6-10. The white Baymax was HUGE, definitely more toward a size 10 if not bigger, I had to sew it down quite a bit because my 4 year old practically disappeared and was consumed by the thing once inflated. Sewing wasn't too bad, it is like a parachute material and didn't give me any trouble with my very rudimentary seamstress skills. Then the red super-hero version was more like a size 6 if not smaller...it will work for my 7yr old but just barely, and the mask and gloves were teensy-tiny. For both the white and red Baymaxes (Baymaxii?), the masks are atrocious - think flat plates against your face (no contour). In both cases we are skipping the masks and gloves and just going with cheap white and red beanie style hats and plain gloves. The end effect: they will be hits at their costume parades, no doubt about it!

You almost had me...
We got this for our son, everyone loved his costume. People stopped us everywhere asking where we found this costume. I would have given this 5 stars had the fan in the back not come loose after a couple hours trick or treating. Normally I wouldn't mind since he would probably pick something different next year. However at that price, it should have been stitched into the suit in some way, and not just secured with tight ripped hole in the suit.

perfect for my 10 year old
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter (yes I know it's really for boys) but she wanted to be Baymax. She's about 4'6" and it fits her perfectly- would guess it would fit a child anywhere from 4 foot tall to 5 foot tall. the material is slightly a little see-through so your child should wear light colored clothing underneath and it works perfectly. The mask only covers the front of the face so we are going to find something to pull over the back of her head to cover it up. The batteries that blow up the suit did not come with it (4 AA) but they have lasted a long time- the controller for the fan just fits in a pocket on the inside, no problems at all

Had unusual experience, read review
Bought this because my son absolutely loved the adult one I wore for Halloween. The costume came opened, and clearly used. With animal hair on the legs at cat height, residue on the inside of the mask from a previous wearer, dirty gloves, and parts missing from the battery pack. Contacted the vendor who pulled the not my problem card, blamed Amazon. Amazon didn't have a replacement. My son asked me not to return it, although Amazon was completely okay with and offered several times. So I cleaned it up, disinfected it and built a battery pack from one of the last RadioShacks around me. The fit. My son is a 4T. The legs and arms are nowhere near short enough for kids his size. I'd say by about 6" on all extremities. The mask/helmet needs nose foam to keep the eyes where they need to be. There needs to be venting put into the mask. I recommend on the sides of the mask. Like if you're looking at the face, at the 430 and 730 positions near the seam. And vent holes in the very top of the mask/helmet. That way cool air gets drawn in from the bottom and hot air vents out. Plus, it allows for better hearing.

IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH THE PROS AND CONS ITS GREAT
I tried to give it 3 and a 1/2 stars.. My son has special needs and he was obsessed with Baymax for about a month so beings it was so close to TOT I ordered this. I loved it and loved it on him however in hindsight I probably wouldn’t have ordered it knowing what I know now. Pros *showstopper Cons *after getting out of the vehicle to start walking it immediately tore very first time he wore it. *the zipper in the back wouldn’t stay zipped *the clip on the battery pack was practically useless. Had to keep reattaching it to blower and pants *The band on the mask was a snug to tight *The gloves kept falling Off *A little tough to walk in (steps off limits) Like I said before, it was adorable and got a TON of positive feedback but Had I known this I probably would have chose something different.

Broke before even wearing it once.
Very disappointed in product. My son went to zip it up at school today (Halloween day) and the zipper pull came off in his hand. Because it can't zip up, it can't hold air, and he now cannot wear it out to trick or treat. For almost $60 canadian after tax he should at least be able wear it once. Would not buy again.

Fun and cute.
This thing is large! But the elastics at the ankles and wrists make it wearable anyway for a small boy. My son looks like a baseball in it, but he absolutely loves it. We have had no problem with the air pump so far; my son is autistic and insists wearing it about once a week since he got it for Christmas, and it still works fine. Beware the static : cat and dog hair stick on this thing like glue. Minus one star because the mask is cheap and looks terrible.

If your child is about 5ft, and tiny it might fit
*Definitely NOT for a large child. *Gloves don't fit a very petite 10 year old. She fits in the rest, but barley. *The mask pushes against your face, so alterations are required. *We did not receive batteries. Overall, prepare yourself for a very short shelf life, bit still fun.
