So far, amazing

Edge and face jointed several pieces of black walnut 5.5 inches on the face and 2 on the edge. Did some cherry, Purple Heart and maple as well. So far they have been excellent.

Not simple to install---Blade level is hard to acheive

Spent many tries to get blade level...then found i had one blade off .050"

Great product but you'll need the manual to install right.

Taking old blades off : easy peasy Putting new blades on : easy Getting the set just right to do thier ONE job: difficult Have the manual out or your phone on company's website of the manual and go slow. Took me about an hour to get the blades just right and it was my first blade change.

Soft-ish, but they do the trick.

These blades are kinda soft, s in they lose their edge quickly. They'll still power through hardwood cleanly when freshly sharpened. I don't use my jointer much, but I need to sharpen them more than i would a high quality brand (obviously). However, they sharpen well and they typically last about a year for me before they reach end of life. But for the price, these do the trick nicely.

Difficult to fault

Very well made product. And difficult to fault especially considering the attractive pricing level. My only regret is that I did not purchase 2 of them, easily remedied. Will certainly be purchasing from vendor again.

Not compatible with porter cable jointer

One blade was fine, while the blade didnt line up the the screw holes of my jointer. The screw holes were clearly in a different places on each blade. When i installed one of the blades on the jointer the max height of the blade was about 1/8 of an inch below the outfeed table making the blade completely useless. I was forced to reinstall one of the factory blades. Pretty disappointed
