Painful lesson

When I held this cover in my hands, it felt as though it might offer some cushioning. But when it was on my bike saddle, it became mostly useless. The tiny cushioning tubes can't provide the type of resistance you need for this purpose. The material compresses completely and becomes painfully hard. It works more like thin armor than like a cushion. I've had motorcycle armor with a similar design. You just can't make effective seat cushioning with such a thin layer. You need a thicker layer that slows the acceleration of your mass in a controlled manner, and which doesn't turn into a rock-hard layer when fully compressed. Gel has a similar problem. Only a thick foam seems to work for this purpose, so I'm trying another cover with that design. I'm keeping this product because I hate to return stuff, especially after using it even briefly. Maybe it can be used as a middle layer to slightly increase the width of my narrow saddle and help make a more cushioned cover fit better. Young riders accustomed to hard seats may be able to derive some benefit from this product, but if you are older or just value comfort over spartan design and function, get a cushion with some kind of foam construction.

Just not cushiony enough

This is a unique and well made bike seat cover. It stretches and barely fit my seat so its good and tight. I was hoping it would add more comfort than it does. The rubber mesh cushion "things" are hard and do not move you around like gel seat covers. This would be good but if only you felt the cushion more. It's based on the rubber and air flowing through the rubber holes. Just doesn't deliver for me. Sending it back cost you shipping - you can't just bring it to Kohl's - and they don't say how much so I will keep it hoping it works for someone around here. I have given it like 300 miles. May try it again at some point. I would save my money if I were you.

It installs and looks great

I like the way it grabs strechs around your seat without cords, looking clean. But it adds no cushion -I am ok with that. Also it is not sturdy enough, look at the front after 5 months ( I bought it at REI). At $20 it is ok, at $30 you may want to buy a new seat instead. I am buying a second one for $20.

An overpriced slip on seat cushion...

I'm not impressed...the Delta hexAir saddle cover is a very thin material that slips on over your existing seat(mine is the thin racing seat), it's easy to put on and stayed in place after a short 4 mile ride and I did notice a "slight" improvement in comfort but it's not worth the $29.99 selling price IMO, it should be no more than $9.99. BTW, I didn't feel a "cushion of air for maximum comfort and support" per their advertising...maybe it's just me.

Look is great

The look is great and awesome but can't say the same for thr ease of use. It's difficult to slide with bike shorts and may still need a little bit of cushion to make it awesome for me.

Fits like a glove

Fits really good over my seat. Can't really tell it's a cove and not the actual seat. Didn't really gain much more cushioning from it.

Nicely made and fits great

I put this on my hardtail for a bit of extra squish. It makes chamois optional, which is great because I prefer to wear shorts without the padding. Easy on and off so it also makes a great cover for traveling on the car in the rain. I got the race one for smaller saddles and it fits my Ergon S/M saddle well and should work on any similar sized saddle. Nice work Delta.

Game Changer

Easy to put on, durable and made my bike seat incredibly comfortable and bearable on my daily commute (6 miles each way.) I highly recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded. Calza perfecto en el asiento, es aprueba de agua, de todos modos uso cubierta para el exterior en mi trabajo, lo recomiendo ampliamente, pero dura aproximadamente 8 meses ( uso diario)
