Excellent quality but gasket does not fit

This is a really nice piece of bling to add. It's made extremely well. However, the ID on the gasket supplied is so large it is unusable. Had to go buy a replacement that fits. Still happy with the purchase.

Sturdy and Attractive!

I have a large fuel cell in my truck and venting has been a problem. Always smelled like gas inside. I mounted this vent in the roof and ran a fuel line from the vent up to it along the B pillar. Problem solved.

Great buy

These are very classy looking and certainly perform perfectly. The rubber gasket isn't a whole lot of good because as you tighten it down, it spreads out oblong. I was afraid of leakage, so I countersunk the whole just a tad, then apply the right amount of sealer. She's tight as a doughnut hole now.

excellent vent

This is a little more expensive than the cheap plastic or zinc versions but is a really well made screened vent.

Beware.... faulty design.

Depends on where it's located but on my boat this style vent allows a lot of water to enter my tank. The two holes makes it hard to mount in a way that keeps sea water splash out but also keeps rain water out. I think this style vent is very poorly designed and would keep away if there is a possibility that sea spray could reach it on your boat. I pulled over 8 cups of water out of my 85 gal tank. Just to make sure It was coming from the vent I pulled the hose and held the anti siphon loop up and sure enough got a good amount of salt water out of it...
