Decent storage case but it has some issues.

I like this case, but I also dislike certain aspects of it. I thought about sending it back but decided to keep it because it seems like it’s gonna work for my application. First off let me say, I’m not using this for fishing because I don’t fish, I’m using it for my sewing supplies. And yes, I’m not a female but a male, and I do my own sewing on my shirts, pants and suits etc with a Brother sewing machine. For any haters out there I’m not one but ashamed of that. I’m sure there are plenty of other guys out there who do the same thing. The cost of alterations is ridiculous and I’m just cheap enough to want to do it myself… plus I can do make my clothes look the way I want such as tapering the legs on my suits and pants to give them a more modern look. It’s hard to get a tailor to understand how I like them. Anyway, I was looking for a case for all of my thread and other materials and this really fits the bill. Everything fits and I have easy access without having to dig through one of those open sewing boxes. I think the only real hangup I have is particularly with the drawers that don’t pull out very easily at all. Also, I wish there were wider spaces in more of the drawers which would help a lot, but not a dealbreaker. I don’t use it all that often otherwise I would not be able to tolerate the difficulty of sliding the drawers out. A lot of the other cases I’ve looked at have those clear plastic trays that you take out and I wasn’t fond of that style. Overall it’s a pretty decent case and I can recommend it but with those small caveats. Hope this helps

Great Box of a dying variety

My dad had one when I was a kid. A great box with a decieving amount of storage space. My dad may now use the Flambough Hip Roof Box now but I'm ditching that same box in favor of this one. I crammed 4 modular trays and a small tacklebox worth of fishing gear in the drawers. I have all my bait, my scale, my fishing line, all my packaged plastics and a tub of beads in the top portion and I still have room for more.

looks pretty good

wish the draws came out a little farther and the clear lids on top had to be sanded before the work easily. overall seems like good box.

Good design for Fishing Gear, but used for Alternative Need

Good design for Fishing Gear, but used for Alternative Need. I'm using it as a tool box for small tools used in model working & small model trains. I'm able to use it for my needs. Things I would like improved would be: the drawers be removeable from the box frame, instead of being locked in their rails; also the drawers have fixed dividers, instead of making them adjustable.

Adequate for my needs

Box is suited for the now and then fisherman. Not a PRO box. Latches seem flimsy but I'll let you know if they hold up.

My husband loved it

His old tackle box was about 40 years old and not functioning very well , he found this one and we ordered it and he loves and had such a great time putting all of his fishing gear into it

Exactly as advertised, not cheap but but great for organizing trout gear in boat with no flip out trays or removable containers.

Good storage for watch tools

Use it for storing my watch tools and Straps. Mostly plastic construction which I am not sure will last for a long time. Variety of compartments in drawers limited. Still recommended as there don't seem to be better options out there
