BarkBone Wood Dog Bone - it's made of Nylon - misleading description and listing
I was specifically looking for all natural chew bones - this one is titled "Wood Dog Bone for Moderate Chewers" with the description as REAL flavor, REAL ingredients (pictures), REAL wood for moderate chewers (product description). The listing even goes as far as including in their description 'for aggressive chewers we recommend our nylon chews' - which would allude to and suggest this moderate chewer bone is not a nylon product. I also noticed that the listing pictures specifically avoid the reverse side of the packaging with the list of ingredients, nor is there a list of ingredients in the description ("Ingredients: Limited-Ingredients") There is one picture further down the listing closer to the reviews which shows BarkBone product decision guide but again alludes to nylon bones for aggressive chewers. I don't like this type of selling - it's misleading and in my opinion intentionally so, making it deceptive by ambiguity. I did give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered but now see on the label the item is clearly a "flavor infused nylon chew" "made with durable nylon" containing "peanut butter flavor combined with REAL wood for moderate chewers." Thus I am inspired to leave this review for other pet owners who are looking for a durable nylon-free product since it's difficult to discern from this product listing. I've included a picture from the product packaging so other shoppers can read for themselves what the ingredients are and make a more educated decision on their purchase. I will be returning mine.

Not the strongest
Eh. My pit bull is an extremely strong chewer so I’m sure this would be great for the average chewer. The photo is after three days and probably a combined 60 minutes.

Great chew toy!
My dogs love this toy. They love just chilling on their bed and chew on it. They work on it for 20-30 minutes at a time. Your dogs will love it!

At last a toy for serious dog chewers
I have a Boxer and an English Bulldog and both and tear apart, or chew up dog toys in a very short period of time. I'm not a fan of many of the synthetic dog bones, worried because they seem too easy to be chewed up and swallowed. These are really terrific! Both my dogs love them. They can chew on them for hours and after weeks of use, they barely show any wear! I highly recommend these! In fact, I just recommended them to a friend a couple of days ago. I'm so glad my brother (he has an American Pit Bull Terrier) let me know about these. They are available in several sizes and flavors too!

Not tough enough
Our dog is really awesome at chewing. He’s a black lab just under a year and this bone lasted only a couple hours over the span of a week for him to get through. Had to take it from him after an hour each time. If you have a heavy chewer, just get real bones and freeze them.

Ten minutes in it became very sharp from chewing. I've had these last a couple days in the past but she is 1 1/2 years old now. I recommend buffalo horns

Caution: Crazy Sizing
Be careful selecting your size!! This was our first time ordering this bone online and without thinking I selected the "Large" size. I was shocked when a tiny bone arrived and thought that it must be an error. Turns out the error was all my fault but really, who assumes a "Large" size would only be 6 inches!?! In fact, the "Large" is the SMALLEST size of this bone. Why they start the sizing with "Large" as the smallest size is beyond me - it is not consistent with other bone brands and is very misleading. For buying the smallest size available I think the price is a bit high. The bone came wrapped in plastic - I appreciate that as I assume it helps keep the smell/taste better than sitting around a factory waiting for shipment.

Not for aggressive chewers
I was recommended this bone by a friend, but was very dissatisfied when my dog was able to take chunks out of it within minutes. Not suitable for aggressive chewers ans dog must be supervised. But my dog LOVED it!! I give it three stars because my dog likes it, but not for safety.

This toy is great for medium dog chewers. Not labs. Haha. My golden is fine with it. My lab destroyed it in minutes.
