Working well for me. But hate the wall peg.

I hate the wall pig/peg. As it's very heavy and difficult to set behind the bed even on the floor of the bed this is used on. But suppose all of these pads would have similar issues. So must set it aside. So far no failings. It works well and following suggestions of setting to high before getting into bed works well for me. I've got the wall lamp that swings out and can drape the control over that where it sets then gentle onto a cushion that's against the back wall. So it's simple to reach up and find at any time of the night. And the way I've got it set is the wires won't be crimped or cut into by the weight of the control either going over the light bar. If that was a problem I'd put a wrap or two of that shelf liner around the swing arm to prevent a problem and cushion the wires. Now the thing I don't like is the expectations that all beds come with a plug in cord convienently placed just for these to plug into at the top of your bed. Ours in on the side and behind a solid aluminum extra long frame that prevents the peg/pig from sitting on the floor or tucked under the bed frame on the floor. It's in a tiny room and bed only fits this way period. So no bed stand next to it either on the side of the plug. Only the otherside where it can't reach. What I like most...I was prepared to cut the bottom corners where it's fitted for a regular twin mattress so it would lie flat on this EXTRA LONG TWIN mattress. Instead it fits...it really does make it that long. I can now understand why one reviewer was upset that it was long for her mattress and others said they had to tuck it or fold it over the bottom end of their mattress. It really seems to fit the Extra Long Twin as perfect. Our mattress however is not a super deep one only 8 inches at best. A deep mattress like the one we got rid of a few years ago ... 14 inches I doublt this would work out as well. The goodnews is I would recommend this pad. And I find turning it on and off as desired easy enough and selections of levels quite enough. I turn it off far more than I expected as once warmed up and relaxed in bed it's too hot on high and even on level 2 or 3 down from 10 all night long. It is clear it is a warming pad and they tell you not to expect it to feel warm all over as it heats up where you seem to touch or place your legs or body parts. It is amazingly comfortable. It adds a touch of softeness to your sheets to. I have it right on the pad the fitted sheet but intend to put a wool pad on top of the heating mat because others mentioned they prefer them and they don't get as sticky or over heated as otherwise can happen. Also they swear they last longer and stay cleaner if you put another pad over it. I get that...but only had a water proof cotton top padded pad and the waterproofing was a membrane type of one and afraid it would be ruined by the heat if not right away over time and maybe even mess with the electric pad itself or cut it's life short. I have a natural wool pad that I intend to put over it but expect it not to feel quite as lovely and cuddly and warm...but for my needs....warming up those cold feet and legs when first in bed it should work. If not I'll just remove the wool pad and place it under this one. I would consider buying another and have considered picking up a King size one with dual controls. We set up a King size outdoor bed in the summers and it would be really lovely having the ablility to warm it up on those 40-50 degree nights. It's under a covered patio but open to the rest of the world...ahh warmth and outdoor fresh air. Heaven.

Try it - you’ll be soooo glad you did!

Should have ordered a long time ago! My husband was just commenting how cold the sheets are when he gets in to bed and how cold he is during the night because I have to have the window and fan on in room. I have been using a heating pad to warm the foot of my side but when I fall asleep it stays and is plastic so I wake up with hot sweaty feeling feet. Decided to try this heating mattress pad. We have two twins due to having adjustable bed frame and wanted the ability to have our heads and feet up independently along with the massage option. We also bought a really nice 3 zone air adjustable mattress so this was the icing on the cake for bedtime. I surprised my husband with the purchase and application of this heated mattress pad and he was SO thrilled with it! Last night was the second night using t it and he literally couldn’t wait to crawl in to bed ha ha. Getting old will do that to you. I suffer from chronic pain, neck back and legs which is severe. This seems to be helping my legs a little and does make getting out of bed a little easier. I was concerned it would be too hot for me.. I placed it under the separate mattress pad on my side and didn’t change anything else. The first might I sleep great, preheated bed on hi then turned to 1. Last night I put it on 1 again and woke up super hot!!! Thought oh no, it had malfunctioned, but turned out our 95lb Golden retriever was cuddled up next to me which added too much heat for my liking.. he obviously liked it..which is a bit odd because all of our dogs have dog bed heaters under their blankets (which I’ve always thought felt great and tempted more than once to climb in their bed).. this particular dog didn’t care for his bed heater and when I put it on he gets out of his bed so I took it out. This pad is a gentle low heat which makes a big difference. My husband says he hates electric blankets for some reason but he and I so far love this new soft heat... sorry I waited so far past winter to buy it, we could have used it. Haven’t washed it yet and I did turn it around so the connection is at the top (to the side) so would work at foot too (seems a lot of folks complain about being able to feet connection on many pads). I have checked the connections and they never have felt overheated but I do worry about it. If we are both gone I unplug the dog bed heaters but don’t think I will with these as they are off. The dog bed heaters are basically on if plugged in. You cannot feel the wires at all. Mine is under a mattress pad but my husbands side is just under the sheet and he cannot feel the wires either. This was a medium price pad. I’ll update the review later if anything goes wrong... so far though, it’s soooo nice. I stayed in bed late this morning (Sunday) toasty and turned on the massage, geez could have stayed in bed all day.. that might be the only down side!

Buen calentamiento - no en toda el area

Le doy cuatro estrellas pues el calentamiento no cubre toda el area del colchon, sin embargo hace bien el trabajo de calentamiento y la opcion de graduar el calentamieno entre 1 y 10 funciona bien, en cuanto al consumo de energia, es de mas o menos 60 vatios en la opcion media de calentamiento, lo que significa alrededor 0,6 KWH al dia

le moniteur ne fonctionnait plus après seulement 2 mois d'usure et impossible d'avoir des réponses après de multiples essais, je ne le recommande absolument pas, j'ai jeté 100$ à l'eau

Only lasted 7 months

Heater pad was not used much first couple of months after delivery, then used every night during winter months. It is the end of January and it has stopped working. Too much money for a heater that does not last one winter.

Not for me.

I didn’t like it. It doesn’t heat up so that you can feel how warm it is. Other mattress covers I’ve purchased you’ve been able to feel the heat. Not what I was looking for. I returned it.
