Nice shoe, but still too tight. Returned

These shoes were pretty comfortable, but still tight across tongue. I wear custom orthotics, making the shoe tight across top of left foot, even with the extra depth. I wore them in my condo for several hours, hoping the might stretch a bit, but still caused uncomfortable pain. Reviews on several sites like the shoes, but say the tongue is tight. I wear a 12 xx wide(5E), and have flat feet, but these shoes don't go any wider. I went back to using my orthotics in slip-on Skechers. My recommendation is that these shoes would be fine with low arch or no ach orthotics. However, if you have high arch orthotics, you may want to look at other possible shoes options. Hope this review will people struggling to find shoes allowing orthotics, or orthotic shoes.

A great shoe

I purchased the shoe because my Orthopedic doctor informed me that I could transition from my boot to an orthopedic shoe. I enjoy the shoe, and it is comfortable. I recommend this shoe to everyone.

Ready for Vegas

I bought these shoes after a long weekend in Vegas. I was wearing Vans all weekend and my knees were about to give out while walking through the airport terminal to leave. Sat down did some research. The reviews on these were strong so I ordered a pair (size 13) it's what I always get. They were loose so I did an exchange for a 12 1/2. The return was super easy and I got the new shoes quickly. They fit much better, still a touch loose in my opinion but that's probably because I'm use to full lace ups. I now exclusively wear these when not in work boots. They are comfortable, light and very supportive. Can't wait to take them to Vegas and put some real miles on them.

Soft toe-box, Supportive and Wide

Quality Construction But

Great looking and quality shoe, but were too tight, and strap was a little short for my fat feet. Had to send them back. I will order a half size larger, and wider next time.

I had to go for men's shoes as you cannot find reasonably priced good quality wide width for women ... seems wide width women must spend extra because they're labeled womens These are great for those who have to stand and walk on concrete for several hours or all day ... the extra room allows for the expected swelling after a day on your feet Propet is a brand I can recommend

Three times a charm!

So I'm a Senior ex-runner with orthotics, I needed a 'slipper' that takes orthotics: enter Propet. I tried Propet Viator Strap but despite a good fit had a thin sneaker sole that did not provide much support. Next, the Propet Cush'n Foot which had a good fit & firmer trainer sole but was non-breathable (diabetic shoe) and after a few minutes my sock was damp. Enter the Propet Stability X Strap with the best of both: a good fit, firm sole and breathable (same mesh top as Viator). The bonus was the same heel tab as the Viator for easy slip-on. Highly recommended. Thanks Amazon! Stock is low per size so once you know your model & size, I'd advise buying a few as no guarantee stock will return soon.
