Great sandals, run very small

I replaced a 10-year-old pair of size 11 Columbia sandals with these. The old size 11 sandals fit perfectly. Before ordering these, I even checked the size chart and measured to make sure. The size chart matched my old sandals, so I ordered these in size 11. Believe all the other reviews that say these run small. The new sandals arrived and were too short. My toes hung over the front. I am exchanging them for a size 12. The sandals themselves are very nice quality and, except for the hanging toes issue, comfortable. UPDATE: The size 12 pair arrived and fit perfectly. When comparing them to my old size 11 sandals, they are exactly the same size. Size up from your regular shoe size when ordering.

Awesome Sandle!

Tried to find these last summer. Couldn't find them anywhere. Glad they brought them back. Good for every day wear. Wear in the water, they dry super fast and won't fall off

Two sizes too small

I wear size seven but always purchase size 8 so they fit loose. At first I purchased size 8 but the front strap was way too short. I've never had sandals with such short front straps. So I ordered size 9 and they fit better but the front strap is barely long enough. I surprised these expensive Columbia sandals have this poor design.

They are similar to my old pair. Very comfortable.

at first glance - what I wanted

We are talking about men's sandals and a man's foot. As most other reviewers mentioned, the sizing is less than the standard by at least one size. I like my sandals to be a bit bigger than the foot, so my toe is protected. In this case, with my standard 9.5 US I bought 11 US and ended with about 0.7 cm (0.28") from the toe to the edge of the sole. Probably more of a concern is that my foot is narrow, and yet I had to adjust the front Velcro strap so that the Velcro starts at the buckle. It's fine for me, but someone with a wide foot might not be able to make the Velcro hold as the strap will be too short. I cannot comment on durability, just got the sandals and they would probably have to wait till spring for testing. At the moment, I am satisfied with the sandals.

price for quality is OK

Good: * Came on time * Gets the job done as sandals Improvable: * These sandals with size UK14 are 0.5 cm shorter than the ones UK14 I bought 2 years ago. Luckily it's still OK. * It took me a good couple days to accustom my feet to these new sandals. My previous Columbia sandals adopted quicker

Good for the price but too narrow for me.

I had to return these unfortunately as they were too narrow and spongy for me compared to the Columbia Techsun Vent sandal which I usually wear. Returning the item was very straight forward thanks to Amazon.

Not for everyone.

I wear a 9.5, bought a 9 which fits fine. There’s about 1/4 inch left in front. They are design for skinny feet, so if you have big feet, it’s a no no. The Velcro on the straps are not long enough to loosen them up. They are really light but because of the lack of padding, they can be uncomfortable after awhile. It’s a good buy but I wouldn’t run the marathon with them.
