Looks Great, But Too Large

Bought my normal size shoe and it is nearly a full size too large. Never had this issue before, but second pair of Steve Madden's I've had this issue for. Love the look, just wish the sizes were more similar to other shoe brands.

Can't recommend - wears out your skin/heel.

As many noted, the entire material section around the opening is stiff and coarse - especially around the heel and leather strap. I made the mistake of wearing for extended period far from home (about 9 miles of walking) only after a short indoor fitting. It wore thru skin around by heel near the leather strap stitching and sides of ankle wasn't doing much better, even thru fairly thick socks. Band-aids were needed to get thru the day, and it never really broke in - now I am considering just donating this...

Uncomfortable

I’ve had a few pairs of these shoes in the past. Very comfortable. The new design is terrible, too stiff and digs into your heel.

My 16yo son could handle the pain in his feet. I sent it back.

Tore up my heel

The top of the heel of this shoe has a stitch going up it that is rough and solid. It rubs against the heel painfully instead of being padded and smooth like in a normal shoe. Wearing them for a day peeled skin off my heel. Don't get these.
