Great looking, comfy shoe that runs a size big.

Comfortable and stylish
These are a nice pair of dressy but not fancy shoes. The build is solid with no noticeable loose seams. The shoe is padded well and has plenty of cushion and stability around the ankles. The insoles are comfortable, and provide enough support for a day of walking. The outsole is not made of the cheap cloth material that many similar shoes have, so they provide a reasonable amount of grip even in rain. The overall construction does make the shoe a little heavier; of the shoes I have worn, they are on the heavier side. The laces are not the round kind, so they don’t come untied frequently. I like that the color of the outsole matches the color scheme of the rest of the shoe. The shoes fit true to size, (I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, and these fit at 8). Can be a little pricey if bought at full price, but the brown pair currently has a 40% discount.

Comfortable shoe for the office
These Aldo Oxfords are a very good-looking stylish shoe and perfect for around the office. These are dressy enough for the office but casual enough for wearing with a pair of jeans. I found the fit to be good and very comfortable for all day wear. I did take a star off the rating for the fact that at the price I would have expected leather rather than faux leather.

Smart look, great for business casual
I just got these, so no this review won't account for long term comfort yet. I'll update once I've worn them to work for the day, or out one night. Regarding look, they're somewhere between a tennis shoe and a dress shoe, so they're very versatile in how you can wear them. They seem to work well with jeans or dress pants. Walking around, the fit seemed okay thanks to the shoe laces. Overall, however, these seem to run a bit large. I made sure to check the rest of my closet and the majority of my shoes are the same size, but these wear larger. The entire upper is synthetic (not cloth, like the front appears to be in pictures), so we'll see how well that holds up over time. While the front is embossed with a diamond pattern, the rest is more of a matte finish, which I fear will end up shiny as it wears and scuffs. I'm undecided as to whether I find this acceptable for the price. Overall, for now I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 for now until I can gauge how well they hold up to use, and how comfortable they end up being, especially during a commute. Unfortunately, since it runs large, I'm knocking off a star.

Definitely worth a try
The color is spot on and these shoes give a casual outfit a simple elegance. They are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time, so you can use these for a casual day out. I got these originally to use for formal wear during family holiday parties, dinner dates and work meetings. I now use them for just about anything. They have a comfy padded sole, they are easy to get on and off and the adjustable shoe laces help the shoes adjust to the with of your foot. The top half has a matte finish and the tip has a textured sheen but nothing too glossy or shinny. The only negative things about this pair of shoes is that they do run big, I would suggest getting these one shoe size smaller. You can also feel the line where the different textures of the shoe meet (right at the bridge), so you have to wear thin socks. if you are looking for a step up from casual wear shoes that feel as comfortable as a pair of sneakers then these are definitely worth a try.

Decent Casual Dress Shoes
I normally wear a size 10.5 in most athletic shoes, and a 10/10.5 in dress/casual shoes. I ordered a size 10 in these and they fit length-wise. The toe box is a little narrow for a casual shoe - the toe box is shaped more like a dress shoe so it fits a bit snug in the width. After a full day of breaking them in that snug fit is not uncomfortable though (I just prefer a wider toe box in general). These are nice as a casual dress shoe - I wear khakis of all different colors for work so having a selection of different color shoes is a must. These ALDOs pair well with my khakis, especially the slim fit style pants that I wear. I did knock a star off for (1) the narrow toe box and (2) on the left shoe there is a decent amount of shoe glue between the upper and the sole (see picture) that detracts from the clean casual look. Overall though, I like these and hopefully they will hold up over time.

Nice pair of casual dress shoes with a narrow profile
I ordered a size 9, Brown, in these shoes. I'm a bit mixed on my review of them. First, when I received the shoes and proceeded to put them on, I felt an uncomfortable lump in the left shoe. When I took the sole insert out, I found that it had a huge wrinkle. This very much could have be an isolated occurrence, but still it was a bit annoying to receive a new pair of shoes in this condition and seemed like a quality control issue to me. I left the sole under a heavy dictionary for two days to see if it would straighten out but it didn't. I then proceeded to iron the sole insert on heavy heat, and finally that alleviated the wrinkle. I was able to place the sole insert back in the shoe and finally wear them. Moving to the review of the actual shoes, these are a great pair of casual dress shoes. I can wear them to work and also wear them out to dinner. The quality is really good and sturdy (they are Aldo brand!) and the design is very stylish and hip. These have a narrow profile and took a few wearings for me to break them in and finally make them a bit more comfortable. If you have a wide foot, these may not be the best shoes for you. Besides the initial issue with the sole, overall these are a nice pair of casual dress shoes that you can wear for multiple occasions.

Travel shoes
My husband spends a good chunk of his week cruising around airports. Once he lands at his destination he typically goes straight into the office. These shoes look great, are comfortable and so far have been great on travel days. They are a great mix between a full dress shoe and a sneaker. The toe box is a bit narrow but not annoyingly so. There are a few minor things like loose threads but it isn’t noticeable till you zoom in and stare hard at them. So far he’s only worn them a few times but he’s pleased.

Good casual / semi-formal shoes
The shoe is good looking and nicely crafted. Had been using with jeans and casuals for over a month. The quality is intact after regular usage. Comfort is decent (may feel slightly heavy). Happy with the product.
