This shoe is very comfortable, extremely light and lots of toe room. Diabetic Friendly
I bought these shoes for an extremely picky husband. Originally, I ordered a XX width but they were too wide. Happily, Amazon was kind enough to exchange them for a X width. My picky husband loves these shoes. They look sporty and are extremely comfortable. They are lightweight and so sporty that you don't even notice the velcro closure. They do not scream old man shoes. I would definitely recommend these to anyone but especially someone who is picky about their shoes.

10 Med width felt like 10 EEE
The first thing I noticed was how extremely wide these were. I wear a medium width. I ordered a medium width. What I received was marked a medium width. However, they fit like EEE width. They were so wide that I ran out of velcro to make the width adjustment. Only a tiny piece of velcro held the straps in place. I tried using cushioned hiking sox, but that did not help. I tried using heavily cushioned hiking sox and that did not help either. My heel swimmed around in the heel box because it was too too wide. Therefore if I walked on anything other than level pavement, my heels and toes slip all over the place putting me at risk of a turned ankle. On boulders, they felt like they were going to twist off. I also noted that I could several lumpy areas in bottom of the insoles. Therefore it was like I was always walking around with folded over sox inside my shoes. I ordered a 10 and they fit lengthwise like a 10. Insofar as the materials and craftsmanship, I had the opinion that the materials were too thin and fragile. I felt however that the shoes were well put together. Bottom line: ridiculously wide heel to toe; lumpy inside; fragile materials; but, they look very nice.

Excellent shoes but to uncomfortable for some people i.e. me
I bought two pairs of Propet shows about 3 years ago and they are still almost like new. They are extremely comfortable and did not even need breaking in - tremendous value for money. I needed some new sneakers for outdoors and saw these advertised at $39.99 so had to have them. The shoes have quality materials and I was very pleased with them until I actually wore them. I ordered a size 12, 3E. The shows looked narrow and they turned out a bit narrower than expected. The worst part though is that there is a 'bar' across the toes. The bar is set such that it presses down on the toes and is quite uncomfortable. I have a foot condition that requires me to wear roomy, comfortable shoes. I had no hesitation in going with Propet as the shoes I had bought were exactly what I needed - it is sometimes difficult for me to wear socks as they can irritate my feet so I sometimes wear the Propet shoes with no socks and just a cushioned insert. I need sneakers for messing about in the garden so sadly I will have to keep looking. These shoes may be exactly what most people want but for people like me with sensitive feet, I would not recommend them.

Cool shoes
The media could not be loaded. Bought a 10.5 fits good. Usually buy size 10, but I needed it a bit larger because I had a Stroke and have to wear a AFO for foot. As pictured fast ship quality item thx.

Stylish and Well-fitting.
The shoe fits well and looks really nice. My left foot swells from my mild kidney issues, so the straps need retightening after wearing for a bit. Other than that, I really like this pair, which is my second pair of Propets. Still wear my first pair for puttering around outside the house or running errands. They have loads of miles and memories on them and have walked where ancient kings and caesars have tread, literally! I keep this pair for casual outings and socializing when they're not likely to get dirty. The color goes well with blue jeans, gray or off-white khaki or olive cargo pants, even some blacks. 2 for 2 so far, Propet!

Seem very well made!
I bought these for my 89 year old dad for Christmas, as he was complaining that he could not find shoes with Velcro closures. He asked me for triple wide - I guess his foot bones have spread with age. I was afraid they would be so loose that his foot would slide around, but they are perfect. I will see how the shoes wear,, but he is very pleased with them so far, and so am I - they are not only good-looking, but sturdy enough so that I worry less about him falling. I didn't ask him about the arch support - I'm sure it is quite adequate. Thank you for making such a nice product.

These shoes allow my husband to feel feel self sufficient and less noticeably disabled.
My husband suffered a stroke 6 years ago in his mid 60s. He has good genes and looks 10 years younger than he is . He is now hemiplegic but has learned to walk short distances and ;drive his truck. He would not be able to live independently, but he can do tasks such as go pick up a few groceries or get the mail from our rural box. I am his primary care giver. The velcro straps on these shoes allow him to put his own shoes on...so he can completely dress himself. The styling of these shoes doesn't make him feel like he is wearing the same shoes worn in long term care facilities. This is a real emotional boost...in his jeans,, fashionable shirt and good looking shoes, he still feels a little fashionable...that is an awesome bonus when he has lost so much else. Many velcro shoes are pretty ugly!
