Lightweight and Effective

Was looking for something very lightweight yet effective at deflecting wind and keeping me warm without overly hot while hiking. The recycled polyester material is perfect. Stores easily in my pack; weights next to nothing; but provides the extra layer of warmth during the early AM or evening hikes. Quickly has become one of my favorite pieces of gear.

Great warranty

The jacket has a very nice look and feel. The quality of the zipper is terrible though. Mine broke after the second use of just casual wear. Just after the 30 day Amazon return policy, hopefully mountain hardware will stand behind it…. Update…. Mountain hardware quickly, addressed the situation to my satisfaction. Here is a company that stands behind their products! Order with confidence

Perfect balance for climbing, MTN biking, and trail running + casual

This is the one to get.. I tried the Patagonia Houdini, the Arc'teryx Squamish, and several others (REI, Burton, Kuhl to name a few) and the KOR Preshell is the one I kept, and use. One thing that is great about this jacket is that it has a wind flap behind the zipper (the Squamish does not), which really helps block the wind/cold. Also, I like that it has hand pockets instead of the single chest pocket with the Houdini and Squamish - I use this jacket for technical outings, but also use it just bopping around town, on walks with the dog/kids, trips to the skatepark, or whatever. It's nice to have zippered hand pockets. For tech outings, I have used this MTN biking, climbing, and trail running and it has provided great wind/cold resistance and it is super breathable so I don't get hot. Also, even thought it feels quite thin, it has held up well to branches in the woods and rock faces at the crag - no signs of wear at all. This is a great little jacket, and seeing that I got it for $65, I think it was an absolute steal!

Really liked it but poor fit

I like the idea of this jacket, had stretch, but the armpits were way too tight and the forearms of the sleeves were very billowy so I returned it. Maybe it was a one off issue?

Light weight

Minimalist light jacket. Fits true to size. I was worried it might be tight since a have a larger upper body but fits great. I’m 6 foot and 220 lbs

Thin and compact jacket

Small compact jacket. This is a very thin and light weight layer. I like how compact I can make it for easy storage. It’s pretty wrinkled once it is out of the storage pocket, which is understandable.

High quality fit and finish

This thing can’t fit any better. High quality material that fits great. I thought I was buying a rain jacket since I found it on amazon while using the search keyword “rain jacket” but I’m not sending this thing back, I like the fit and finish too much.

Terrible material!!! NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!

After using it for about two months there are fabric pilling all over! Awful! So not worth the 100$ that we purchased for this cheap material!
