Nice platter

I like the size of the tray, I thought it would be much heavier weight wise than being very lightweight. I thought all Wilton Armetale platters were very heavy, I’m hoping it’s the real deal.

Armetale is Awesome

I received my first piece of Armetale several years ago and loved it. It's unique metal keeps hot foods hot longer and cold foods cold. The metal properties have a tendencies to hold heat and hold cold depending upon which the metal is exposed to first. Pop it in the freezer for a 30 minutes and then use to serve your snacks. It will keep your fruit, veggies, and cheeses cold for a long time. The same thing will hold true for things that you want to serve warm. Warm it in the oven or even use hot water; it will help keep those foods served with it warmer longer.

Wilton Armetale RULES !!

Don't start out with cheaper, less substantial pewter wares. They just aren't worth the trouble. Go first class -- it's less expensive in the long run. I've used Aremtale for 20 years. It does an excellent job. The tables always have a classy look because the trays are so pretty. Regular cleaning and keeping it out of the dishwasher will make it last a long time. Remember: It can be used at room temperature, from the fridge...or the freezer ... and even from the Oven. Food stays cool or hot depending on how the tray is prepared.

Attractive, can be used in oven

I was looking for a silver tray. This one was used, as the new were expensive. However, it does look used. Apparently these products can be used in the oven, which may accound for the high price. It is nonetheless an attracive tray. Would have liked it bigger.

Feels cheap

I have an original and this feels like a cheap, light, thin, made-in-China tray. Looks the par, from a distance, but underwhelming when in hand.

love this platter - I've had it for 20 years and just bought one for a gift

I love this tray. My husband and I received the same one 20 years ago at our wedding and we just bought one for our niece and her new husband. It's been on our table for every special occasion since. It has a nice presentation, nice size an very versatile between formal and casual gatherings. We do not put it in the oven, as advertised. I'd be heart broken if anything happened to it!

Great Wedding Shower Gift

I own several Wilton Armetale platters. Absolutely love them and use them several ways. Great to put into the oven to keep grilled items warm. Use as a platter for cheese or salads, keep in the refrigerator until ready to eat. I also defrost meat on top of the platters.

I could not be happier with the quality and looks of this tray

I could not be happier with the quality and looks of this tray. I gave two for gifts and I wish I would have ordered one for myself. The friends I purchased them for were so happy to receive them. One husband told me his wife was so excited when see saw it and telling him how she could use it and because she was so happy it made him happy. Thank you for such a beautiful product. Carole
