Not spectacular, but worth the price *lubricate bearing before assembly*

The media could not be loaded. ** Before assembly, I highly recommend adding a motor oil (do this outside) or some other lightweight oil (chain/jack oil) to the bearing ring (or grease, as long as you are able to coat it well). Don't use regular wd40, it's not a lubricant and will evaporate. It is a cheap open bearing, and it is supplied with a grease that has the consistency of wax. The lighter weight oil will help it spin better, and preven bearing failure, as I've seen some users report.. Note, if you try to spin the plate by hand it will probably be difficult, once it's together the leverage from the ring makes it easier to spin. The pad is thin. I ended up putting a cut up foam mattress topper behind it and a seat cushion for wood dining chairs under it.. that'll do until I want to buy another cushion..

Cushion is thin

Overall the quality is what I expected for the price. Not a pleasant surprise or a disappointment. The frame is sturdy, and it's definitely NOT grey as the text description suggests. It's black like the picture shows. Some other reviewers mentioned about the wicker getting in the way of the bolts. I did have to use a utility knife to cut around the bolts & remove some excess wicker before screwing on the nuts. They probably would have gone on without doing that but it kept there from being any gap between the two halves of the seat bottom. Not really a big deal. The main drawback to this chair is that the cushion is thin, and it's sitting on a thin, widely spaced metal lattice, so you definitely feel that lattice under your rear when you sit in the chair. I stuck a down style pillow under the lower side of the cushion, and a throw blanket over the cushion, and with that extra padding it's acceptably comfortable. My chair is in a corner so you don't see the pillow stuck behind the cushion, but if the chair wasn't in a corner it might not be the best looking solution to the problem.

Holes aren’t fully available or aligned.

The chair seems like it will be cute for a kid’s room, but the assembly isn’t ideal. I’ve seen this with other products these days, where holes aren’t aligned well - or the other side of the hole is covered by the chair wrap. I’m sure it will work with some work and lots of patience (I have none), but they definitely weren’t created for reasonable assembly.

Super Shocked about this item!!!!!

My daughter loves her new chair. After reading the reviews and still taking a chance I am glad I did. This chair is awesome looking. I had ordered it before I read he reviews then I got a little regretful. The box was kinda beat all up so when it opened it and looked at all the pieces I was sooooooo happy. It was in perfect condition. This is a really good size piece of furniture. It was not hard to put together. I suggest you do not tighten the screws all the way until you have them all finger tight. I had to loosen up one to get the other 3 to line up so you need to have a little "give" in the the process of adding the other 3 screws. You may have to push the screw through as the holes may be slightly covered by the stuff that is twisted around the metal. It is like a decorative type stuff to make the item look nice. Besides that little stuff I have no complaints about this item. I was also not expecting this item until Sept 24. I was looking at the order one night and saw an option to upgrade shipping for free for 2 days after the item processes in their orders. I took a chance, clicked the option and got it within a week with free shipping. Comes with the tools needed to put this thing together. You will not find another swivel papasan chair for this price with free shipping anywhere on the internet. I looked when I saw the original deliver date but still decided to order this, glad I did!

Tropical comfort

The only drawback of this chair, is my cats beat me to it half the time, and I haven’t the heart to kick’m out! Xlnt quality ????????????????

Did not come with any hardware

My kiddo wanted this chair, and I hesitated spending 150 on it but figured it should be her big gift this year. So it came in a big ol' box and waited until Christmas. Once it was time to assemble it, I noticed the hardware was gone. There was only 4 pieces in the box, 3 frame pieces and the cushion. There was no way to miss the screws. I completely took apart the box just to make sure, though. And nothing. Kind of disappointing since I get a 25 dollar chair and get everything I need.. So I scrounged up some 8mm and 6mm screws and got it together but cant help but to think its not proper. I think the screws that should have come are probably large flat headed screws, not the little button heads and washers I had to use. Anyways, I got it built. Then my kid says she can feel the frame through the massive cushion somehow. Yikes. On a positive note, I didn't know it swiveled so.. yeah.

Nice

A bit challenging to assemble just because the holes aren’t aligned. Only took about 30 mins or so. Just had to put in a little more work. No further tools needed besides the ones provided. The cushion has a strong chemical smell like bug spray maybe. Chair looks great and it’s comfortable.

Toutes les vis manquantes, boîte très endommagé

Nous avons acheté cette chaise pour la fête de notre fille. Une fois chez elle, elle a ouvert la boite pour la monter et aucune vis n'étaient dans la boîte. Le colis a certainement déjà dû être un retour car la boîte que nous avons reçu était très endommagée. La personne qui a reçu le cadeau est allée acheter des vis à ses frais pour pouvoir la monter. Donc la chaise a coûter bcp plus chère que prévu!!!! La chaise est belle et confortable mais pas pratique sans vis.....
