Fit and Finsh Good as the Original
This handle and hose is as good or better than the original part. In particular is the swivel on the handle, which seems to move freely and, to my recollection (7 years since new), better then the original . I gave this piece 5 stars because of the overall quality and fit, however only 3 stars for ease of installation. To explain the differential, I should first state that it fits perfectly! The difficulty is attaching the hose to the faucet, but that's just the nature of the beast. In order to get access to the attachment fitting you need to get under the sink and use a ratchet with a long extension to remove the hold down bracket. It's not hard to do, just a little awkward. Use a flashlight; be patient. Once the new line is in place, the fun begins when you try to re-attach the faucet mounting bracket. The process simply cannot be done with out an extra set of hands holding everything in place up top, since you'll need to crawl back underneath the sink to tighten the bracket. My wife did a superb job holding the faucet and bracket! Some of the other reviewers simply changed the spray handle and reused the existing hose, but our hose was a little yellowed so I opted to do the complete swap. Altogether I think it took half and hour. Not too bad, and it looks great.

Anemic spray pressure, O.K. construction.
The trigger on my original kitchen sink sprayer broke, so I bought this Kohler unit. Amazon Prime delivered it in 2-3 days pre-assembled in a padded envelope complete with hose, fittings and washers. Since I only needed the hand unit, I unscrewed the old sprayer and screwed on the Kohler unit in about 30 seconds. The Kohler unit works fine, though it suffers from anemic spray pressure. The broken sprayer had a much stronger spray even though it had a fair amount of calcium buildup. This unit appears to be one of those sprayers that forces you to "save water" which is exactly what you don't want when you are trying to wash gunge out of a sink. Overall construction is fine, if a bit flimsy. But the anemic spray pressure forces me to remove a star. Four stars.

Better Engineering
This sprayer has a radial oring seal which reduces the load on the plastic threads holding the hose to the sprayer. Thats a good thing. Less expensive sprayers use a rubber washer or oring face seal which puts more static load on the threads before you even start using it. Buy this sprayer.

Replacement for broken sprayer
The sprayer on our Kohler kitchen faucet was not functioning correctly after about 3 years, so we sought a replacement. After identifying the necessary part number from a home improvement store, we found the exact same sprayer here on Amazon. In our case, a hose was already connected to the plumbing and still functional, so we simply attached the new handle to the existing hose (the handle unscrews from the hose at the handle's base). Unfortunately it does not appear to be an option to purchase just the handle, so we now have an extra hose. All in all, replacing just the sprayer took about 30 seconds, although I can imagine it would take longer if there was not already a compatible hose installed. By the way, I don't know why the title of this product on Amazon is "basket for duostrainer" -- it is indeed the Kohler side spray handle and hose in brushed nickel, exactly as pictured.

Works but….
Replacement for leaking sprayer. Hose is not same quality as I had. Hose tends to catch due to friction when retracting. Prior hose was black woven material that retracted like butter.

Not impressed with the hose
I bought this to replace my original and it's just not a quality item. The hose kinks right at the top and then breaks down and leaks.

Direct replacement for Kohler Forte
It is exactly the same as the Sprayer that came with our Forte faucet that developed a crack in the side. It was a little tricky to replace because the fitting is deep inside the cabinet. Once I managed to get it installed it works perfectly and the hose on the replacement is more pliable than the original.

Easy fix for older faucets
After Amazon shipped a wrong side sprayer for my Moen kitchen faucet, I opted to the Kohler. The finished matched our brushed nickel finish. Also since we have an older faucet the side sprayer attached easily (without the tool free attachment), just a wrench. Looks and works well at a slightly less price point.
