Very nice and good quality

I saw this on Pier 1 recently and it was gone the next day when I decided to order. So lucky to find it on Amazon. It is exactly what I needed for the space. The only negative is that shade makes the lighting darker and more yellow. It does come with a clear bulb but it was much too dark for me. I replaced it with 75 w led replacement, HD by GE. It is perfect now, balamcea out the yellow feom the glass. I used the relax bulb first but was still too dim yellow. Now happy with this purchase it is strong and heavy.

Wayyyy better than expected

Wayyyyy better than expected, and I’m never impressed haha! Superrrrr sturdy heavyy material and beautifulllllll LARGE glass top. I’m ordering a second one after I post this review.

Overall nice lamp but flaws in mercury glass shade

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. My only disappointment is the flaws in the mercury glass shade. One area has a physical defect in the glass itself and another area has a smudge in the mercury glass finish. Also, this lamp gives off very little light if you use the recommended Edison bulb.

awesome lamp!

easy to assemble, be careful for cross threading. The base is really heavy, beautiful shade. great value for the money. blows walmart out of the water for value and quality. 1st shipment got lost, due to my mistake, 2nd shipment was broken, and customer service worked with me throughout the whole process, super easy. they had me a replacement for the broken one within a day! happy customer, and may order 1 more.

Beautiful lamp, dim light

Love the look of the lamp but not practical if you want a whole lot of light. More of an ambiance piece for us. Really pretty.

I love this lamp.

I wasn’t sure if it would fit the look of my den, but it’s perfect. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a lightbulb. Slightly inconvenient, because the first store didn’t carry the type of bulb I needed.

Disappointed

The lamp is beautiful. I love the mercury glass, however, the glass globe is crooked. The base that the globe sits on was not level. My husband had to put layers of small pieces of electrical tape on the part that the globe rests on to make it look presentable. I decided to keep it even though I'm disappointed. It is just too much trouble to repackage and put back in the box and return.

Gorgeous, glowy lamp

This lamp is stunning. The mercury glass is elegant both lit and unlit, and the Edison bulb casts a soft, warm glow with beautiful patterns cast by the design in the glass. This thing is also STURDY, which is awesome; my old floor lamp had begun to lean at about a 45 degree angle, but this stands straight as an arrow and doesn't seem like it will get tipsy with time. Absolutely recommend!

Too much mercury

Although we understand they are all "handmade" but the one we received has too many mercury lines and the lines do not make good shadows when it lights up. We think that's one of the features of this lamp and unfortunately ours does not work very well.
