Good
This stuff works great on clogs from tissue and soap build up. It's not a quick fix, the bacteria takes about a day to work. But this is definitely something I would use every couple of months to keep the pipes clear especially in a older home or a home with low flow toilets.

I actually preferred the predecessor to this product for effectiveness. Like everything else, the price has gone up. :{ This works ok, but not as well as the SGP.

Works wonders in RV grey tanks
I don’t often write reviews on products, however this product has earned one. I live full time in my RV and have to use a macerator pump to drain my tanks, which means they drain rather slowly not allowing a rapid flush out. As a result soap can deposit on the floor and walls of a tank slowly building up a layer. Backflushing helps but does not fully solve the situation. Doing some research I found this product and thought I would give it a try and Wow! I put it in my gray tanks about two days before I drain them and a great deal of soap deposits broken up in large flake like deposits came out of the drain system. I will do the same treatment during the next drain of the tanks to see if any remaining large deposits come out. I will use this product periodically to keep things running smoothly.

Once again Roebic saves the day (and me money). Had a bad smell coming from my washing machine drain. I’ve used their products before for the septic system and clogged bathroom pipes so I had high hopes this would take care of the problem and wasn’t disappointed. Mixed with warm water and pored down the outflow drain and ran an empty load of clothes the next morning on hot water setting and....smells are100% gone. I can’t count how many different products I’ve used over the years for clogged drains, septic system, main pipes etc and this is the ONLY one that’s has worked every time. I’m on a maintenance schedule now with 4 of their products. Why wait until something goes wrong! This was the first time I had a problem with the washing machine drain and the first time I used the Soap Digester but will use it once or twice a year to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I was first turned on to this brand by a plumbing supply house that told me it was the only brand they carried because it was the only one that worked. Another added benefit is most (all?) of their products safe to use, no nasty chemicals and you don’t have to wear a space suit to protect yourself like some products out there. Here’s a tip, Google the product along with Amazon, prices on some of their products are all over the place and for some reason they don’t all show up on here.

Great keeping my drains open because body wash and hand soap gather
Shower and bathroom sink half bottle in sink and half bottle in tub run hot water about 1 minute let sit 3hours more hot water 3min instructions on bottle I use every 3months I do you don’t have to do what I do now but it’s works great especially for my shower

It does something, but not sure if it's enough
After viewing the information on the Roebic site about the 4-step (quarterly) product introduction I decided to stop using a competing brand and give it a try. The S.G.P. was used in my shower (5 doses - one night after another for a week) and one dose in my bathroom sink. The results were fantastic in the sink! It's the main bath for the house and I have a teenage daughter who uses a lot of hair products, soap and lotions that all get rinsed down the drain. This stuff took care of a slow drain overnight without an issue. For the shower drain - the reason I got this product - my results were less stellar. I used it one night after the next for 5 nights. The product was mixed per the directions on the bottle and poured down the drain prior to my going to bed each night. The product stayed in the drain undisturbed for 8-10 hours each day before hot water was rinsed down the drain. The shower drain had been somewhat slow and it still is. I really don't notice a big change, but it's possible the product kicked loose some crud that is now slowly making it's way down to the septic. I have purchased all 4 of the products listed on their site to use in combination for my septic's health. I may purchase more of this product and give my shower drain another dose. Just not as impressed with it as I wanted to be.
