Watch for size issues
These Steve Madden shoes were purchased for an 8 year old girl for use as indoor school shoes. She is normally a 1 or 1.5 but I decided to purchase the 2 to allow her to grow into them. Upon receipt, she loved the look of the shoes, but right away showed me that her toe was pinched to the very end. The shoe is clearly closer to a size 1 or 1.5 than a 2. Also, the grey fabric is very inconsistent at the toe, with some fabric sticking up which seems to not have been fully "glued" into the front of the shoe. As this was already a replacement product for another return, I am not planning on returning the item, but I do think that buyers should be aware that these could run small. The one plus about these shoes is that the insole seems to be a robust memory-foam type liner that is a lot more comfortable than another similar pair from a competing brand. Update: I purchased the next size up (from 2 to 3) and they are still snug... I hope the manufacturer takes note that the sizing is very different from other vendors. The soles of these shoes also seem to be dirt-magnets. I realize that they are a light color and will naturally look dirtier, perhaps, than others - but these dirtied right away with minimal use by my children. I am happy with the price I paid, but I think that Steve Madden could definitely improve the quality of the sole and sizing of the shoes. Update #2: The back portion of these shoes hurt both of my kids' feet. I've given these the chance to be possibly useful, but when I start seeing blisters even when the kids wear socks with these, I know they are not right.

Fits as expected, comfortably
Perfect fit... I am a 45 year old woman with a very small foot. It is very hard for me to find shoes to fit or if they do they don’t look like adult shoes. I had been looking for a pair of shoes like this in my size for months and I very rarely purchase shoes online. The fit is perfect. They are so comfortable and versatile. I would love to have these in other colors.

I love these, I am a size 6 in women ...
I love these, I am a size 6 in women and I ordered this in a size 4. I have to ordered these instead of women shoes because these shoes in the women size 6 was too big and 5.5 was too small. So I decided to go with these and I do not regret it. These are very comfortable and the color is a nice blush color, perfect for the summer. I wore this for a concert and I danced all night and zero complains. I will definitely recommend these shoes. If you are looking for a comfortable and stylish shoes these ones are the ones.

These shoes are so comfortable! If you get one size larger than what you usually wear, they will still fit amazing! I haven’t gotten any blisters, but I also got a size larger than what I normally wear! They are also SO fancy! Love them!

Very consistent with expectations!
Shoe looks great! Consistent with expected shoe size and seems to be holding up pretty well so far after a 7 year old wore in mud and all kinds of situations.

Love this product, but the shoes are not very durable
I bought this for myself with a gift card and came in a day (earlier than expected). I wear these shoes often, but they are not durable AT ALL, which is my only issue with them.

Convenient and fashionable
I got these for my daughter who is in middle school. The school has strict dress code including fully covered closed toe shoes. These worked out really well for her, she can slip them on easily in the morning, compared to having to tie her laces on sneakers. She loves them, they go with everything and apparently they are very popular in her school.
