All Manmade Materials With Rounded Toe Styling

I bought these Soul by Naturalizer loafers at the same time I bought a similar regular Naturalizer shoe and found that the main differences between the two were materials (manmade v. leather) and styling (more casual than elegant.) These shoes have a rounder, blunter toe which adds to the comfort level, important given that the manmade materials won't break in the way leather will. The top "tongue" is lower, too, helping if you have a high instep. The foam insert and arch support, while thin, work well to add comfort. These shoes are especially good for vegetarians and vegans who wish to avoid leather but still want low-heel (1/2") comfort. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Not Leather

I didn't read the description very well, and realized after I received them that they are NOT leather. They are OK for casual wearing; would not recommend if you are on your feet all day. There is no cushioning whatsoever in these shoes. Again, just for casual wear, they are fine. I ordered 8W in the taupe or brown. They are not pointy toed, but not rounded, either. Wide fits my bunions just fine. I didn't have to break them in, they were fairly comfortable from the get go. Only real complaint is the back of one shoe is rubbing the back of my heel raw. The other one is great. No peek socks don't go up high enough to stop the rubbing :(

Smaller than regular size 6

The price is great, but the sizing is a little bit off. I normally wear a size 6 on most Naturalizer shoes, sometimes even a size 5.5. Never had a pair of size 6 shoes that feel tight on my feet, mostly the width. I hope they will stretch out a bit. Overall, the shoes are fine, the color is gray, or muted sage green, it depends on the lighting. I would order a 1/2 size up for this style.

Quality Shoe, Size up

I purchased these to put in my rotation for work. I am a solid 6.5 slightly wide, and ended up having to size up to 7 wide, but the 7W worked perfectly. Just know that the wide isn't an extreme wide, more like between a regular and a normal wide shoe.

Nice shoes, but not my style!

Naturalizer are the best shoes and will always recommend them, but the style/shape of them didn’t look good on me. I’m on the short side, think they would look better on a taller person.

Best work shoes!

I have owned 3 pairs of these and love them! They are not the most stylish looking shoe ever and I do wish they have half sizes, but they are the most comfortable shoe that provides me support as I stand all day at work. I tried to buy other shoes and put gel inserts in but they did not compare to these shoes. They would probably last me longer if I did not walk my dogs 2-3 miles a day in them. I just end up always taking them out when I'm in uniform. I will keep buying these until I find something better!

NOT Leather.

When I bought these the description said leather upper. The shoe itself says "All Man Made Materials" which is also obviously by the look and feel of the shoe. Length is appropriate, rest of the shoe is a little tight and since it's not leather I wouldn't expect it to break in like a leather shoe. Probably not worth it unless you can get these way on sale to keep as a back-up pair. Besides not being leather and a bit tight, they seem otherwise well made for a synthetic shoe.

Buyer Beware

I am always a size 5 but based on the reviews, I sized up half a size to a 5.5 which was too small. So I exchanged it for a 6, which was then too big. There is something wrong with these shoes. And now I have sent both pairs back and am being denied a refund. I cannot recommend these shoes or this seller.

Cute and comfy!

Love these shoes. The are very comfortable with a soft, flexible sole. Upper is synthetic not leather as was claimed on the product specs. Nevertheless the shoes are really easy to clean - just wipe down with a damp cloth. I've only had them for a few weeks but so far they are holding up well to everyday wear and tear.

Wonderful

This is my second time buying this shoe. My previous pair lasted me for 3 years of serving and I was beyond happy to find another exact pair. They are really comfy if you have bunions or wide/flat feet thanks to the soft material. They can however feel a little tight on your toes and can cause corns if you're wearing them for a long shift where your feet swell, but I assume that's normal of any shoe. And they still beat any other shoe I've tried to last me through all the walking I do in a day so I'm happy :)
