Here is what you do to make your lock worth $200.00

Do you want to make your lock practically cut proof? here is what you do to make your lock worth $200.00 just slip in some grade 8 or grade 5 Nuts. Once you click lock the U in place there is no more room for cutters to open wide enough and it would be too much time consumption to try cutting with anything circular device. I have recorded people walking by my valuables, as they take a good look at the bolts, and say "forget this, I'm gone". "See you later alligator". Just don't forget to wrap clear tape around the bolts, so they are not loose, allowing them to stay together. If you look closely, you can see the heavy duty clear tape wrapped around them.

Heavy duty, well built locks

These locks are used to secure my boat and engine with a large galvanized chain, here in the Caribbean. I like the large octagonal shackles for easy handling and sized for the large chains. The covered keyways are a necessity to prevent salt corrosion in the lock itself. So far, they are working well.

It's a big, sturdy, and solid lock. Period.

Made by a known and established company. Anyone willing to cut this thing will have to make a lot of noise and take lots of time for you to notice and stop them.

Heavy, solid, unlocks and locks smoothly

The best Master lock I've owned so far. I hope it fairs well over the winter! We are using this with a heavy duty hardened noose chain to secure our trailer. Recommended.

Difficult Key Insertion

This is a very good lock for it’s price point. It would be very difficult to cut this lock. However, I returned it because the key is very difficult to insert and extract if you have arthritic hands. If that’s they case stay away from this lock, otherwise you will be very disappointed and frustrated with its key. I would definitely recommended to someone who has no arthritis in the hands.

Great for outdoor gates

This is a great padlock for exterior gates. The only down side is the black rubber that covers the key hole at the bottom doesn't stay closed. But I would still recommend the lock. Pretty thick and you would not be easy to cut.

DOESN'T FIT (some) STORAGE UNITS

I purchased this for a outdoor Extra Storage Space unit. As I attempted to install, I quickly realized that most storage units only smaller locks that can be easily cut, or the disc/circle locks. This item will now subsequently go unused in the storage unit I planned to use it on... It feels hefty. I'm sure any would be theif would see it and simply find an easier target. Just wish it would've fit.

Great lock, gives plenty of confidence, but began rusting

The lock is really solid and looks it’s gonna do the job well. Overall high built quality. I’m just a little disappointed that it began rusting within a week of being outside, locking the shed. Even the key which is kept inside is rusting. Will adjust my rating after the canadian winter proves this lock right or wrong.

Pedí un candado y fue lo que recibí

Tengo 2 dias con el candado, primero que nada el candado se ve muy resistente, se siente pesado y difícil de romper... aparenta ser muy bueno La única queja que tengo es que llegó en un empaque muy raro... llegó el candado y las llaves sueltas en una bolsa de plástico... no traía empaque original, parece como si hubiera sido usado, o clon, o retorno de garantía... el candado aparenta ser original, pero el que haya llegado sin empaque desconcierta un poco, por eso no le doy 5 estrellas.
