I was going to chop my hair off….
I was disgusted with my hair because my ends were so thin and see through (you can see in my before pictures with the grey shirt). They wouldn’t curl and had no shine to them. The color was dull. I was a hair away from chopping off 6-7 inches and starting fresh, but I’ve worked hard to get it to this length. I read about Amika from a blog I visit. I decided to try it to see if it would help. I was blown away by the results. I know it says to not sleep in it, and after doing it, I can see why. However, I didn’t have work the next day and could stay home. Sleeping with it in left my hair super heavy and filmy; I wouldn’t have been able to style it. But when I finally washed my hair the next night and it dried naturally…..boy oh boy!! My hair was smooth and soft. I could tell an immediate difference. I decided to put it on again the next night, but I didn’t sleep in it. I left it in for an hour and then rinsed it out. I’ve been alternating my days so I don’t go through the product too fast. I have now been using the product for two weeks. My after pictures really don’t do my hair justice (black shirt). It looks longer now because my ends aren’t as see through. They hold a tighter curl, as does the rest of my hair! I even think the color looks better (fyi - I do color my hair, but haven’t touched the color since using this). I still have split ends, but I plan to get my hair trimmed and keep using Amika to prevent new breakage. I really can’t say any negatives. The price is up there, but for the results I’ve gotten, I think it’s worth it. I would recommend this product.

My cosmetologist uses this when I get my hair colored. I finally asked what is your conditioner. This!! Wow. My hair is fragile, thin and very over processed because of the years I have colored and highlighted. Amika brings life back. Shiny, no friz, soft. I am sold. It’s awesome. Highly recommend.

Live in a super dry climate
I can never keep my hair from breaking and it is getting worse as I age. I wish I would have found this product sooner. I have naturally curly hair that I continually straighten (I know that doesn't help). I straighten it because it looks so bad when I just let it dry. This stuff is a miracle worker! I still need a haircut to trim my ends but my hair looks SO much better.
