Unique Gift!
My mom is really hard to buy gifts for but recently she has started watching all the true crime YouTube channels that I watch and she’s hooked. She texts me all day about different cases so when I heard about these games on one of those very same channels (10 to Life ) I decided that it would be so fun to let her be the one solving the case this time! She loved it! The attention to detail with all the evidence and just all around the whole storyline was a lot of fun. She lives out of state so she was constantly calling me with her different theories and face timing me to show me all the evidence. It was really nice getting to see her actually enjoy something I got her that much. My mom has already purchased another one! I will also be buying more of these for myself and as gifts for all my internet crime sleuths!

So much fun packed into such a small box!
My wife and I bought this as part of a weekend cabin getaway... We expected a little cheesy guess who kind of story but it was actually a lot of fun. Realistic clues, fun puzzles that keep you guessing and plenty to keep you entertained for a couple hours! Will definitely purchase another from this company in the future! A+++

Great game night!
This was super fun. We used this with 12 other people and had a blast. Great game with plenty of material to sort through. Highly recommend.

Great fun
Some reviewers state they didn't have enough evidence to find the killer and simply guessed. But the evidence is there. It took four of us four hours, plus some individual work, but we found clear evidence. It was very satisfying when it all came together, so keep at it.

Family fun night
We played this game with 7 people. Once we figured out how to organize ourselves, it took us about 2 hours to solve this crime. The game was fun and it was nice to have all the clues with the game and not have to look them up online.

Love these!!!
If you like true crime and you want to solve murders yourself, these are awesome. I made a date night with the husband. We ate all boardwalk style food for dinner while we tried to figure out the mystery. It was different and a lot of fun!

An excellent murder mystery! Please read this review first!
Let me start by saying I HATE Hunt A Killer as a company. They have absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Sadly, their games are usually excellent; this one is no exception. What makes them so good is that many of them, this one included, involved multiple storylines and the need to understand the characters. So, you must solve "people puzzles" along with finding the clues to unravel the crime. It makes it seem a bit more like a real-life detective work. So, why read this review first? (And I hope you are.) One of the other reviews reveals the killer in the first line. I hope you will avoid stumbling onto it and ruining what an enjoyable experience.

Super fun
Great game, lots of things to figure out, like ciphers, clues. The recommended time to solve being 45 minutes wasn't realistic for us, we spent 4hrs at least! Will definitely buy another in the series. Also this company was amazing! We had hid the envelope containing the murders name so no one would peek, and forgot where it was, the company mailed us another one free of charge.

Amazing, as always!
Amazing game, really immersive. I am sold on everything Hunt a Killer. I really enjoyed this one; it was challenging but not too hard. I really enjoy their solo boxes like this one (Death at the Divebar, Mystery at Magnolia Garden, etc).

A little pricey but good value (if you're not 'expert' level)
This review is for 'Hunt a Killer Body on The Boardwalk' Paid full price, $55 CAD. This box comes with good quality items, including a locked box which of course holds some extra evidence that you need to really seal the case closed. It's too bad for us that the combination for the lock was the last thing we figured out, otherwise some things could have been easier for us, but trying to not spoil anything by saying any more than that! My mom and I played this game over two nights, so in that respect, we did get our money's worth, but I could imagine if more experienced players split into teams and did it, it could be done in only a couple of hours, and then that price tag might make you think twice. If you didn't want to pass the game along, there are a couple neat little items you can keep and use IRL, including the lock and the box! Otherwise, it's easy to repackage and regift or donate somewhere. I won't hesitate to buy another Hunt a Killer game, especially if I see it on sale. Other than the price, my only criticism is the hints. To even get to them, you have to give them your email address. We reviewed them at the end to see if we missed anything, and I find it hard to believe that they'd be very helpful if we were really stuck. Otherwise you really need to be sure about your answer before you open the solution envelope.
