Versatile, stable bike carrier.

Pros: 1. Very easy to use if you use common sense while setting it up. 2. Bikes are secure as long as you strap them on. 3. Versatile carrier moves seamlessly from camper hitch to tow vehicle hitch when using the Bump it adapter Cons: 1. Actual keyed-alike locks should be included to secure the carrier. 2. The "wings" could be attached to the Y adapter more tightly for completely wiggle free use. Some buyers think they are complicated to set up, so here's how I set up ours. If you are setting it up for two bikes set up the smaller bike first. The hooks should be placed on the "wings" so the distance between the hooks is close to equal to the distance between the front and rear axles of your bike. Hang the bike rims on the carrier hooks. Check where one of the bottom pegs will best fit against the front or back tire, and mark that spot. I would the chain was in the way for the back wheel so I had to use the front wheel. Note areas where the bike frame may contact the carrier and mark those for where padding needs to go. Take your bike off the carrier, place the padding and bottom peg where it works for you and you should be set up for bike no 1. For the bigger bike, repeat the steps above, pointing the bike in the opposite direction as the first bike. If the bikes are nearly the same size you just have to fudge one up a notch and the other down a notch. IMHO, this is NOT a heavy-duty carrier that I would trust to carry an expen$ive, heavier ebike.

So glad this exists

This is the only bike rack of its kind that I could find. It's well built, intelligently designed, easy to use, and fits perfectly on my spacetrailer. I like having the bike rack mounted to my trailer rather than my vehicle, so I can more easily open my vehicle's rear hatch.

Solid bike rack option for waverunner trailer

This product allowed me to install a bike rack for two adult bicycles on my wave runner trailer in front of a cargo storage box and behind the jack assembly. The rack required some height adjustment experimentation to allow the two bicycles to be mounted without handlebars, peddles, etc from interfering with each other but it did work when the heights were offset and the bikes mounted handle bar side to seat side. Since the wheel bands do not actually lock but rather slip over the “wheel hanging pegs”, I simply used a bike cable lock to lock the bikes together for some security. This lack of locking capacity is a minor detail but was the only reason I do not give the product 5 stars The wheel bands mount the bikes solidly and there was essentially no movement of the bikes over a 1100 mile first trial. This rack is not going to be a substitute for a high end Yakima or Thule hutch mount rack but it gets the job done at a very reasonable price when your hitch mount bike rack is not an option if you are towing a trailer. I also tried out the Stromburg Carlson bike bunk as a solution for carrying my bikes on the waverunner trailer and although solidly built, the bikes would awkwardly hang facing forward at a height of approximately 6 feet. The Hitch-It rack was a far superior rack solution

Innovative design, lightweight

Was looking for a rack to fit on a trailer and lessen tongue weight on my new EV. Fits really well, albeit tightly, on a small camper trailer. Perfect so far but I have yet to use it on a trip. See my review for the receiver adapter. Works but could be better.

A good option for when there are no other good options

I think this thing is just weird enough to let me get two full sized bikes on my tiny motorcycle popup tent (not towed by a motorcycle) The biggest upside is this things flexability. The biggest down side is dialing in the attachment points, but I’m confident it will fit almost anything. I’m so appreciative of the quick release uprights but once the base is on you really don’t want to touch it again. The mounting bolts were 2x longer than needed for my 2” tongue so that took a long time.

Love it

I didn't know there was bike racks like this. I am very impressed so far. I bought the cheaper option of open box and it was missing the instructions/manual. Even without it, iit was very easy to put together.

Easy to install and is very sturdy

This bike holder was easy to install and is very sturdy. It holds two bikes very well. I had to buy fat tire mounts but it works great. It was a little challenging figuring out where to put the mounts. I am exceptionally pleased with the holder.

requires a very long tow vehicle frame

I bough this bike rack in February. Just pulled my camper out for the season and tried to install it. But my camper frame is TOO short (2021 Intech Sol Horizon) and won't allow me to safely fit 2 bikes on the space between the camper and the car. I was worried about this but there is no information online about the space requirement specifications so I had to try and see. Unfortunately AMAZON closed my return window 1 month after purchase! Now I am out $200. If you are considering this rack be sure you have 6 FEET of clearance between vehicles. Not all modern campers have that much. I'll look for sites that have reasonable return windows.
