Not for curvy women (meaning wider hip and narrower waist, hourglass or pear)

I really want 100% cotton jeans. I'm sick of all the plastic garbage waste (that's what spandex and polyester are), and I want clothing that maintains its appearance for longer. The 100% cotton denim fabric of the Lee Women's Petite Relaxed Fit All Cotton Straight Leg Jean met my expectations. These aren't the rugged, heavyweight denim of earlier decades, but a comfortable, mid- to lighter-weight fabric that should hold up to suburban or urban life. (You'll want to keep looking if you're actually wrangling cattle or fixing barbed wire fences, I think.) These Lee cotton jeans fit as expected in the hip/thigh for the size, but the waist is too large for me and gaps at the back. I had hoped these would fit more like the Riders by Lee jeans that have some stretch. THOSE work pretty well for a curvy woman. (My waist is probably a 12 these days, whereas I take a 16 to fit my hips in a standard, straight-ish style of pants.) I got these and the Levi's Women's "Low Pro Jeans" in the same order. I'm returning these, and keeping the Levi's. They aren't perfect either, but at least they approximate fitting my waist. (In spite of the name, and being labeled a "mid" rise, the Levi's Low Pro are fairly high in the rise, but cut "baggy" so I could order by waist size and get enough room in the hip and thigh.)

Pretty good quallity

These jeans are the perfect length for me. The fabric is stiff, but not uncomfortable to wear. The jeans soften up a bit after wearing and washing. The waist is tight, but I stretch the waistband after laundering, and let the jeans air dry, that makes the waist fit better. The fabric is so stiff that I'm concerned about not being able to unbutton them, so I leave them unbuttoned.

100% real denim

Great real old school denim that is hard to find. Size plastic strip residue on leg, should only occasionally wash denim so very un-desirable. Sits a little high, right at slightly above belly button. Overall happy to find a brand still making true denim.

Real Jean Material - YAY!

5'4, 160 smaller waist than hips. Purchased 14 Petite (for ankle length). Perfect fit. Tapered leg near ankle. No stretch however, no stretch can be a good thing if the great fit is great so it doesn't lose its shape as the stretchy jeans do. Well made by LEE. Hope this helps.

Finally a pair of jeans that fit, and 100% cotton!

Finally a pair of jeans that fit just right and are 100% cotton... just as I remember! Well made, good quality heavy-ish cotton. I've been looking for mid-rise, 99%-100% cotton jeans with 29in length (ordered petite, size 2). This pair meets them all. I washed them in cool water and dried them in low heat. I wore them immediately out of the drier. They give a bit after using them, but I'm fine with that. I'm very pleased with my purchase. They only con is that sizing is a bit inconsistent. I guess it depends on the manufacturing batch. I bought two pairs and had to exchange one because it didn't fit. The replacement fit just fine - keep that in mind.

Still too long

I am 5’1” and they are still too long by about an inch.

Too small

I like the cotton jean without stretch. The size, however fit like it was 2 sizes smaller. I have several pair of Lee jeans and chinos all in the same size with the same fit. Not sure where this pair of jeans came from!

Great for the price!

I was super hesitant at first because jeans are a tricky thing to purchase online! However, these fit me perfectly and I'm also happy with the way they look. The quality is great for the price and they actually feel like jeans (if you know what I mean!)

Cute and comfortable

I'm 5'4" and the petite is perfect for rise and length, just to the belly button and slightly below my ankles. The straight leg looks a bit boot cut, but not if you cuff them up by an inch. Definitely relaxed, roomier cut around butt and thighs, even though mine are pretty chunky. There is a slight gap at the waist but if I had gotten a size smaller it would look too skinny around the thighs. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially for the price. Looks super cute and trendy, and love the sturdier 100% cotton material!

I'm so tired of some form of plastic being woven into my jeans. This is the only place I've found real cotton jeans, and I'm a big fan. Thank you!
