Strong air flow
This tower fan arrived in a box with little padding. Luckily the box was fit to shape but you'd expect more cushioning. I used to have a tower heater and it didn't have a remote like this tower fan. I do like the ability to use the remote when in bed. The remote uses two AAA batteries. I like that the remote is also labeled with the pictures. Everything feels very high quality not cheap at all. Sturdy hard thick plastic is used. You do have to put the ring on the bottom yourself. It's very easy because you just twist a couple screws on and you're done. This fan has a smaller turning length, which I love because the fan doesn't turn off of you and then take forever to come back. The blow is very very strong I definitely like using the high setting. Overall I love this fan tower and it will be great for the summer months.

Lasko customer service is the best!
I was having some issues with this unit and Lasko customer service stepped up and helped me, they were very fast to answer and deliver great assistance. Thanks Lasko, I will keep buying and recommend because such BRAND + SERVICE altogether is the best value for any buyer!

It died too soon....
Lasted less than 2 years, and it was on for prob 12 hours a day. Pain in the butt to clean. The remote works fine, but its so small that it sort of was lost for most of it's life. I mean, the fan was good enough that I'm about to buy a second one, but I expected more for $60.

I really like this fan but wish it had an auto shut off feature when tipped over.
I bought this fan in the cooler months and forgot about it until recently. I try not to turn on air conditioning until I really, really have to but I do like some cool air circulating when it gets warm in the house. I pulled out this fan a week ago and I love it. You have to put the bottom part together which takes a minute and then you're all set. You can use the remote control but I don't. The fan is tall and lean, not like those huge wind tunnel fans that take up a lot of space. You can oscillate the air or keep it steady, there are three settings for air flow, and there is a timer which works wonders when you want to just leave the fan on for an hour or two and have it turn off. The air it puts out is good. Not wind tunnel good but nice for warm days or evenings. The sound is like a fan. It isn't super quiet but it isn't any louder than any other fan I have had. I like the sound of fans at night so I am not upset that it sounds like a fan! I just wish that this were just a little better made. While everything works, it feels a bit flimsy. It also does not have an automatic shut off feature when it tips over or falls and I really wish it did. I have pets and this is not the most sturdy fan. My cat ran by it and brushed against it and the fan tipped over. It didn't stop working and I wish it had. Other than that, I love this fan compared to the round ones. It takes up much less space and has some features many others don't. It works as it is supposed to with or without the remote. I want to buy another one but the price went way up since I bought the one I have. I'm not sure it is worth nearly $50.00. I paid $29.00. I will watch for a drop in price then snatch another one up. It's not going to blow you away but it will keep you cool when the room you are in is too warm for comfort.

Nice fan, works well
Rating this one was hard for me…If you’re looking for a quiet fan that looks nice and moves air well this is probably exactly what you want. If you want something that also doubles as a noise maker, this is definitely not it. It’s not silent but it definitely isn’t loud, even on its highest setting. I wanted something that could move air and make decent sound and, unfortunately for me, this fan is just too quiet for what I wanted. I loved everything else about it though.

Good Value for you Money
Glad I got this given the heat wave this past week! -Arrived ahead of time -Super easy to assemble, no tools necessary, one person can do it -Has 3 levels of power that for some reason seem to have gotten stronger since I first started using it? Could be my imagination. Level 1 is great for lounging around, moves the air decently and can be felt from a distance of even up to 8 feet. Have rarely used level 2, since level 1 is usually enough for keeping the room cool and air circulating when lounging, eating, studying or watching TV. Level 3 is great for sleeping and helping move air around the kitchen when cooking (the oven and stove can make the room hotter pretty quickly, plus it helps get rid of food smells quicker than just opening the windows). Have slept with just this fan (no AC) and the windows cracked open on cooler nights and has been great. Slept through the night with just a sheet (no blanket) without sweating or feeling stuffy. -On noise levels: is not the quietest fan I've owned for the power of air it moves, but I have to say even on the highest level it is not as bad as some others. Use the volume when watching TV as a reference: when on level 1, don't need to raise the volume at all. Doesn't interfere with my studying or zoom/facetime calls. On level 2, have to raise the volume by maybe 2-3 points. On level 3, have to raise it maybe 4, max 6 points. Would be equivalent of white noise in the background maybe? -Oscillation works great, air distribution is even and for some reason the air always seems to come out quite cool no matter how hot it actually is inside the room. -Design is super sleek and attractive (got it in the white and silver). Doesn't feel like you have to hide it in a corner because it clashes with the decor. A couple of cons: -Structure seems kind of flimsy, tower will wobble when pressing the buttons or moving it around. -Has made a vibration noise a couple of times when the oscillating function is turned on, which I feel like could only mean it'll be permanent in some time? It is very subtle and barely noticeable and hasn't happened again. -Not the quietest fan I've owned -Only 3 levels of power

Basic but expensive
It's a fan, it blows air. 3 levels (min, mid, max), at max there's a good draft. Oscillating has a good range (about 60°-70°). Also a timer and a remote. Super easy to set-up from the box, no tools required (don't even need instructions). The only, but quite big concern, is the noise. Even at minimum, it's like standing beside a hurricane. If you're looking for a fan to use in bedroom at night, DO NOT purchase that item. Otherwise it's a good product Took off 1 star for the insane noise.

Great value for the money!
We chose these tower fans because they are made by the same company that produces the electric space heaters that we’ve been so satisfied with at our vacation home. Attractive, durable, compact and reliable heating. The fans did not disappoint and are the same excellent quality strong construction, are attractive, compact, provide efficient air circulation up to 15 feet on a variety of settings, and have reasonably quiet operation by comparison with other like products. They have been in use consistently for the past 3 weeks with no operational issues and continue to maintain their high performance level. This is a trusted company that offers quality products. We wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Lasko again, in the future.

Very Happy with the Purchase
I read a lot of reviews about how noisy this fan was or how it just simply wasn't worth it. Personally I find this fan absolutely phenomenal. Concerning the noise, I don't know what kind of fans people must be using to consider this noisy, but this fan is not loud. On the maximum speed, it's still pretty quiet. I use it in the living room, and I find it more than adequate to move the air around and keep the room cool. People who are saying it doesn't do the job must be trying to use it for their entire house or something, but for a living room or a bedroom, it's great! My first one went missing or was possibly delivered to the wrong address, but Amazon had another one sent out the next day.

Amazing fan overall with slight issues
This fan is amazing! Keeps my room super cool during summer (I dont have central air so it gets absurdly hot here) The build quality really isn't great. It's total plastic and I had a little bit of trouble putting it together. Had to use a few extra thumb screws that I had laying around the house to hold the stand together. This thing isn't very loud compared to other fans I've had in the past. But it does vibrate like CRAZY. So keep that in mind if you're going to be around it a lot. Still, great fan for the money. Would say go for it

not worth the money
I was really disapointed about the engine strength and air quantity. The base is really not that solid. I bought a 30$ one and the wind flow is stronger. This one don't worth 100$ on my point of view. Don't buy.
