Uses CR2 - not CR123A battery
I haven't had an issue with its ability to range at the distances it claims to support. However, I've gone to use this twice (with little use in between) and the battery was dead. Additionally, it doesn't use the CR123A battery as listed in the description - it uses a CR2 battery. The CR2 is smaller/less capacity and is rarer. All of my weapon lights and other lights/equipment is using either rechargeable batteries or CR123A, so I need to retain extra CR2 batteries just for this device, which isn't very practical.

Quick and Easy Ranging
My buddy has an ATN X-Site and I'm thinking about getting one. We only shoot less than 200 yards but since head shots need to be accurate I thought I'd try this one. The main feature is that it connects to the X-Site my buddy has or useing an app I can use it on my non-ATN scope. It's pretty slick but the documentation is a little vauge. Connecting is via bluetooth and it does that quickly. It can automatically adjust the X-Site scope crosshairs using the scopes rifle profile at the range you measure. I can use the app to view the ballistic calculation from the profile I select. So far the only complaint I can find is it shuts off after 1 minute. Hope this helps

Reliable, Accurate, Versatile
i bought this to go with my ATN X-Sight II 3X14. pairing was very straight forward and not one problem. The accuracy I would say is better than most run of the mill range finders, it does not jump around and it picks up on objects very quick. Also i have the new ATN X-SIGHT 4K PRO 5-20X and i have paired it with this and works great. i have also used this as just range finder at different ranges and found its accuracy was better than the 1 yard +or-. The best feature is of course how well it works with the ATN scopes and ballistic calculations.

Friendly staff at ATN and always willing to help. ATN LRF 1000
I like the fact that it has a scan mode and have a fog mode and that it supports bluetooth and the ATN customer support (Milen Yap) is very friendly staff and is always willing to help and solve any problems with your ATN products. I bought this ATN LRF 1000 and the scan mode does not work on it and i contacted ATN support (Milen Yap) and they are replacing my unit for me and i would recommend ATN to anybody.

Provides engine performance and diagnastics, greatly simplifies analisis.
Product works as described, provides real time engine performance while driving. I use with the Torque lite App currently. The app is not as satisfying as the reader. Invasive and has adds. Starts up on it's own conflicts with other Apps I'm using. Sucking battery life and performance from my Tablet. I will be trying the upgraded version and other apps for a more personalized gratifying experience. Will buy more for my other vehicles as I routinely forget to pull from one and install on another before departing on trips I want to monitor more engine parameters on.

Great for ATN SCOPES
good things : Pairs with ATN 4k in a second, no hastel, very accurate readings. The scope distance is changed within seconds automatically Bad things - I don't know why American products still rely on batteries. The CR2 battery is hard to find in Africa. Even chineese range finders are not coming with USB charging capabilities

In the daytime is worked great! in the early morning there was some fog but the fog function is a joke. at the 30 yard targets it was reading 256yards then lased again 103yards. trees that where less then 15y away is was giving me in the hundreds! When the fog lifted it was again spot on accurate.

Pratique, mais un peu cher par rapport à son prix US.
Bon, c'est un télémètre laser, prévu pour la chasse (ou pour le tir sur cible, mon cas), qui a la particularité d'être connecté... à une lunette presque introuvable en France, et pour cause, interdite à la chasse ! (les calculateurs de correction de trajectoire ne sont pas permis, pas plus que les lunettes qui enregistrent les actions, et on ne parle même pas de vision nocturne...). Sinon, il est pratique, semble précis, l'appairage bluetooth est sans problème, et je le trouve plus pratique que le modèle a visser sur la lunette, tout aussi cher et inutilisable seul. Bref, j'aime et je recommande, pour ceux qui en ont l'utilité.
